I'm pleased to announce we're rolling out a giant new initiative as part of the "Fight for Victory Tour" that will honor those who have been wounded in service to this nation. Marine Mom Deborah Johns (who is traveling on Move America Forward's "Fight for Victory Tour" national pro-troop caravan) was the source of inspiration for this effort, and is working to make it a huge success.
Move America Forward is asking all of our supporters and members to submit letters, cards, and notes of support for the men and women of the United States military who were wounded in their service to this nation.
We will be collecting these messages of support from you at each of the 27 pro-troop rallies across the nation September 3rd through 15th as the patriotic, pro-troop "Fight for Victory Tour" crosses the nation. When we arrive in Washington, D.C. we will deliver the majority of these letters and cards to Walter Reed Medical Center on September 14th for distribution to our heroic troops who are recovering there.

We'll also distribute some of the notes and letters to other Military medical facilities across the nation where our brave troops are recovering from injuries obtained in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
We're hoping that school classrooms across America can participate. We invite churches to also take part. We're hoping that veterans groups and civic clubs will participate. Our goal: to collect thousands upon thousands of notes, letters and cards that properly honor, thanks and salute our brave troops who now must cope with the struggles of a sometimes painful recovery process.

Jim Dugan talked with newly
injured soldiers back from Iraq.
Then he and several other members
of the Sit Volleyball Team recruited
doctors, staff, and family members to
give a volleyball exhibition. We want them to know that America is appreciative of their service, and hasn't forgotten about them in this time of their lives.
You can find our 27 pro-troop rally locations where you can bring the cards and letters - FIND THE LIST HERE

O.K.
Dear 3-wheeler. I just looked at your post. You are a Jefferson County lib, with strong conservative views. Please be prepared to defend your statements when you post. I worked with MAF for quite some time, and never worked with a Jefferson County Lib on a project. Don’t post and hide. That makes you a liberal and a coward. Explain your statement. Many of us that have paid the ultimate sacrifice in this war would like you to BLOVIATE! Start talking.
Do you think he was mixing up Move Forward with Move On?
That would be quite a mix up.
Everyone should find SOME TIME durig the day when if it is even only ONE letter- you can write & send-it is ONE MORE added to our effort!
OOH-RAH! for the idea!

I am making my cards right now and I am collecting cards from my local scrapbook store too. I will be bringing them to the kick-off event in Carson City on the 3rd!
