KARACHI: Weapons were recovered from the possession of an Airhostess of Quetta bound flight of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
According to the details, a 30 bore pistol and 4 rounds were recovered from the possession of Iram Aara, airhostess of PIA Flight number PK-523 on Monday upon search by an Airport Security Force (ASF) Search Counter. The flight was coming from Karachi to Quetta.
Airhostess Iram Aara is the daughter of ASI of Gulistan Johar Police Station in Karachi and was appointed as airhostess in PIA two and half years ago. The Police after arresting the Airhostess registered the case against her in Police Station Air Port.
However, it is yet to be determined why the airhostess was in possession of weapons

It is probably a .32 ACP caliber as that is supposed to be the only legal one Pakistanis can own.
Could be a Tokarev. That’s about .30 caliber.
I've never had the [ahem] pleasure of firing a rifle chambered for this round, but do think I'll pass...
Farther down the page from which I retrieved this pic, there's commentary claiming the Brits even went larger, to a "1" bore, which they then changed over to naming A bore/A gauge.
“Coffe, tea or a cap in yo ass from my gat, mutha-F#$&@R!!!!”
I’ve read that one does not deign to shoulder “The Mighty 4 Bore” save in the most dire of circumstances, but will side with wisdom in every tenable situation, and hold the buttstock in the pit of the arm, bracing it firmly against any available, solid object; such as a tree or rock outcropping.
Those who have found themselves in need of shouldering an “Elephant Gun” have, as often as not, been knocked unconscious at the recoil. The fortunate among them have awakened to find their target lying dead before them; those less fortunate have been found dead with their target lying dead ON TOP of them.
Well done!
You’re a poet don’t you know-it.
I once shot an elephant in my pyjamas.
LOL!
Haven't heard that in awhile.
Reminds me of the warning about the Giant Panda:
It eats, shoots, and leaves.
“Coffee, tea, or TNT?”;)
