This makes three of Vick's co-defendants who've been flipped. What's worse for him, the Feds are putting on serious pressure by threatening to file a superseding indictment with "at least two more Federal dog fighting charges." His only hope now seems to be an OJ jury.

Local news is guessing he will force a jury trial.

Local news is guessing he will force a jury trial. He better hope that he doesn't have a paper trail.
I think the Fed's are going after the gambling and likely tax evasion, not the Dog fighting itself.

I was playing Trivial Pursuit the other day and one question asked "Which of OJ's lawyers stated he wanted nothing to do with OJ's trial because it was a sure loser?"
Answer: Johnny Cochran
I am positive Vick can get himself an OJ jury in Atlanta, but will he end up a complete wreck like OJ?

Also, he is dealing with the Fed's (95% conviction rate) not a bunch of goof balls that bungled the OJ trial.

Local news is guessing he will force a jury trial. That just might be the dumbest thing Vick can do.
He has already been found guilty in the court of public opinion.
He has lost endorsements and time in camp and is facing a lost season.
A jury trial would be the lead item on the news and 24/7 fodder for discussion on ESPN, ESPN2, etc. for as long as the trial goes on with repeats on the hour.
Vick needs to get his name out of the news and start having a "Come to Jesus" attitude ASAP if he ever wants to have another NFL paycheck.
And a SCLC "Stand by our Black Man" endorsement isn't doing him any good either.

If the judge doesn’t turn into an eastern vesion of Lance Ito, the prosecution will have an excellent chance of winning.

If Vick looks up he should see the bus he was thrown under.

Vick must decide whether to accept plea agreementPuts me in mind of this quote...

Do ya, Vick?

I think he is a Republican appointee.

I agree w/ you. The only way he gets back is to put this behind him asap(anything short of jail is a win at this point)nnd spend the next two years rebuilding his name.
Then he might have a chance at retribution

“That comes on the heels of news that co-defendants Purnell Peace and Quanis Phillips are scheduled to appear in federal court in Richmond at the end of the week and are expected to accept their own plea agreements.”
Like rats deserting a sinking ship. With friends like that, Vick doesn’t need enemies. His “friends” are hanging him out to dry.

Besides which God knows what Vick did - what they all did - and there is no way they can deal their way out of that.

Unfortunately, in today’s world, guilt or innocence won’t matter much.

With a sharp attorney Vick can go to a jury and win. All he needs is a sympathetic “OJ” jury. Their is probably enough in the backgrounds of the two government informants to make their testimony “suspect” or incredible.

They’re exactly the kind of friend he is! If the shoe were on the other foot he would sell them out in a heartbeat, the whole lot is nothing but a bunch of thugs. They all need to do some time.

Check the link to the indictment; now all three of Vick's co-defendants have flipped. Vick must be wondering what happened to all the "stand up guys."
