Have been in running discussion with someone about the Clintons behavior in the White House right before they had to leave it......i.e. The reported vandalism and the reported thefts of White House property.
This person says these were "stories" generated by the Bushites with no foundation in facts. I've been searching the internet and other websitesw but so far have not found anything that would classify as independent corroboration of either the vandalism or the Clinton thefts of White House valuables.

The one thing I remember which could be ascribed directly to Hillary was some furniture which they were forced to return from New York. You might do a search based on the White House bureau which would have performed the audit and raised the issue.
It boiled down to a he said/she said thing at the end. Snoops did a web page in which they said it didn’t occur in the porportion that was circulated in emails. Don’t feel like hunting the snoops page down, but it is there.
The Clintons did take some stuff with them (fact) and some they had to return.. Some items were given to the White House only, and Mrs. Clinton decided she would take them instead even though they were earmarked for WH use only.

I’d love to see the GAO books on setting up the offices in the White House, for the Bush administration. Clinton’s disrespect for the sanctity of the White House knew no bounds.
Reagan wouldn’t take his suit jacket off in the Oval Office out of respect. Clinton finished his jog with a half a dozen sweating friends into it. He then proceded to usher one female down the Monica Blewhimsky memorial hallway.
I’m not sure how you could prove what the Dixie Mafia Nephew’s homies did when leaving the White House for the last time. Knowing that whatever it could possibly be, Boy Plunder would fail to be forced to take acount for it, leaves me not caring much. I believe his crew did vandalize the White House in ernest.

Only thing - this quotes the American Spectator and also quotes a GAO official but there are no links to TAS article and/or the official’s comments.....so will keep searching. Thanks.

Excellent - now we are talking. Of course the minute I mention Brit Hume, I will be turned off (Fox News is NOT an acceptable “source” for truth about the Clintons, doncha know). But that GAO report is and that link provided in that story to yahoo news is. Thanks a lot.
Yes, that’s what I am looking for - here at FR we had a group who was chronicling the Clinton thefts - but I can’t find those threads. Maybe somebody else remembers them.
