I've asked you very politely to refrain from posting that discredited, pack of lies to me. Several months ago you repeatedly spammed me with that and I asked you to stop and an admin mod asked you to respect my wishes. It seems you have forgotten. Before it begins again, I ask once more that you stop. There are plenty of other screen names you can post that junk to if you insist on posting it. You can even post it to yourself. But, please, AGAIN I ask that you stop posting it to me.

Articles authored by David French are an excellent source of scholarly, factual, and well-sourced opinion and information about Mitt Romney and his record as Governor of Massachusetts. David has written several articles to rebut and expose anti-Romney critics, most notably the seriously flawed material produced by MassResistance headed by Brian Camenker and other individuals of his ilk.
MassResistance lies rebutted here.

But who the heck is David French?

David French is a Harvard Law School graduate and a leading constitutional attorney with the non-profit Alliance Defense Fund (ADF). The ADF is a legal defense and advocacy group for religious freedom founded in 1994 by the leaders of more than 35 ministries, including Dr. James Dobson and Dr. D. James Kennedy. ADF directly litigates carefully chosen, strategic cases to protect the freedom of religion, guard the sanctity of human life, and preserve marriage and traditional family values. The ADF is a major force opposing liberal activist groups such as the ACLU. David is a First Lieutenant in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps of the United States Army Reserve.

David French co-founded EvangelicalsForMitt.org, an independent website dedicated to spreading awareness about Governor Mitt Romney among Christian conservatives. David and his wife, Nancy, have two children and live in Columbia, Tenn. where they attend Zion Presbyterian Church, a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America.

I posted what I posted in response to your lying Romney-campaign generated piece that tries to deceive people into believing that Mitt Romney had a pro-life, pro-family record as Governor. You’ve posted the same piece to many threads.

What I posted is sourced throughout, and is indisputable, no matter how hard Romney’s professional spinners try to pretend otherwise.

If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. Or at least, stop posting such dishonest spin from the Romney campaign.

The truth hurts. Efforts to suppress it are desperate, and contrary to the principles of conservatism.

Mitt Romney is not a conservative. Never has been. So, how could he be "one of our own"?

Yeah, this is just the latest in a long series of attempts by the Romneyites to threaten, intimidate and silence me.

Good thing I don’t intimidate easily.

Yeah, Reagan Man, we've all seen the words he used. My point is they were only words. He was not some sort of an activist for 30 years as you seem to be repeatedly implying. His mother took a position, so he agreed with her. Big deal.

He didn't lobby for a pro-abort group. He didn't petition anyone to expand abortion rights. He didn't do anything overtly political for those 30 years. As I pointed out previously, he was kind of busy.

When it mattered, however, he DID the right thing in spite of his previous inclination to go along with what his mother believed. Reagan did the same thing. He went against the family tendency. The majority of his family, Maureen, Nancy, Ron and Patty, were all pro-choice too (I'm not sure when Michael converted).

In the past several days, restornu has made hateful, personal posts to several people. When someone responds to her personal attacks that person is censured by the mods and some of their posts are even pulled. Perhaps it would help we peons to be given a clear picture of whom we should ignore so the mods who protect those special posters will not have to disturb their reading? I won’t even bother to ask why the mods protect restornu in her personal attacks.

Yeah, we should hang him for his poor choice of words. Or, we should demand he stay home and write essays and send them over to you for editing first. Sheesh. Everyone needs to get off of their high horse already. It is pretty ridiculous.

... I know, personally, several very busy, high-flying business execs who consider themselves staunch conservatives who never even think about the abortion issue because it does not concern them, their family or their friends. It does not enter into their daily lives. It does not cross their desk. While they may be personally pro-life or opposed to abortion, they wouldn't think of infringing on another person's personal business or pre-judging a woman in that situation in a million years. That makes them "effectively" pro-choice.

And I wouldn't vote for them either.

However, if one of these execs suddenly became a politician and was elected and had bills crossing their desk that had the effect of saving or taking lives --- then their eyes might be pried wide open by the awesome responsibility placed in their hands on an issue they gave very minimal thought up until that moment.

Reagan underestimated the malevolence and deceit of the abortion killers and was publicly speaking out against their abuses within a year of signing the bill. He was NEVER "adamantly pro-choice", as Rommey falsely alleged. Thirty plus years later Rommey cannot offer ignorance or naivete as an excuse when he, unlike Reagan, ran for governor of a liberal state three decades into the abortion wars and got elected telling the pro-aborts what they wanted to hear. Reagan never did anything like that.

Rommey is either pathologically myopic, or hypocritical, neither of which bear any resemblance to Ronald Reagan's views and character. The more the two are compared, the greater the contrast.

Cordially,

You're argument is silly. When you hold a position as a elected public official, your life is an open book. In the early 1970`s Romney chose to support abortion rights and he supported Roe v Wade. That means he supported a womans right to kill her unborn child as a Constitutionl right. He supported abortion on demand.

There is no place in the Constitution that mentions anything about such a right. Nothing. Killing your unborn child has nothing to do with privacy rights. Ending a human life in this fashion is an outrage. An abomination. Romney kept that position until something like 2005.

Reagan was first faced with the abortion issue in 1967. By 1968 Reagan had said his decision to sign the 1967 Therapeutic Abortion Act was a mistake. The law was being abused and Reagan said he was wrong. That is a far cry from being "adamantly pro-choice". Which is what Romney said about Reagan the Sunday before last.

Reagan never supported Roe v Wade or abortion on demand in his life.

Its a good decision for anyone to stop supporting Roe v Wade and abortion on demand. Its was the right decision for Romney to become pro-life. The fact he did it in 2005 smells of political expediency. Romney's fabricating falsehoods about Reagan to hide his 30+ years of bad judgment in supporting Roe v Wade, I find outrageous.

You guys are relentless and what for?

You know darn well in your life and even friend they have misspoken in a heated situation and you have in you life made allowance because you understood the situation.

This is no different when taken in context, and to try to make it something else than it is, it is your integrity between you and your creator !
