Who is it that is over a Catholic Diocese? Is it not a Catholic Bishop?
My bishop is over 1200 churchs and 300,000 people.
Since there are approx. 2000 Catholic Dioceses in the USA, and there are approximately 60 million Catholics, then each diocese has about 30,000 people.
