The main thing was exercising authority that belonged to her husband, not her. She acted as thorugh she were her husband’s prime minister, not his wife.

I agree. The victim card is going to get real old, real fast.

"I don't think a woman should be president."And I strongly disagree with the reasoning stated above.
I don't disagree one bit. I will never vote for a woman president. Never. Ever.

"Hillary can go to hell, said Alice Aszman, 66, a Democrat from Ottumwa. Ill never vote for her. I dont think a woman should be president. I think a man should. Theyve got more authority. Her husband, Daniel, 50, also a Democrat, agreed: I think women should stay home instead of being boss.
This is the flipside of the "lifelong republican" now being for Obama. These people are shills for a "poor picked-on Hillary" campaign. I don't believe this for a second. Who even talks like this?

I don't disagree one bit. I will never vote for a woman president. Never. Ever. That is certainly your right. As it is your right to refuse to vote for someone on the basis or race, ethnicity, or any of the characteristics of one's birth.
But you might want to bear in mind that gender did not seem to be an impediment to Margaret Thatcher's performance in the UK in the 1980s.
Of course, Hillary is no Margaret Thatcher. I oppose Hillary because (1) she is a closet leftist, who vacillates between making centrist noises (for general-election purposes) and trying to mollify the leftist base of her chosen party; and (2) she is plainly Machiavellian--which is to say, principle-free--but for more on this, see the previous point.
But if you sincerely believe that all women are, by definition, unfit to serve as president, then we will just have to agree to disagree.

I agree; but the Clintons have used the same MO to make them look better in the past.

By this time, 90 percent of the people of IA have never heard of Vince Foster.

Considering the level of voter ignorance, it may be that 70 percent of Democrats think HRC is already their nominee for 2008.
