For Real...Blog Reaction Roundup!
To be crystal clear - I am NOT advocating or inciting you to undertake any illegal act, insurrection, mutiny, putsch or military coup. You are an honorable patriotic man.I am NOT advocating or inciting you to interfere with any of the civilian duties of the President. That would not be a legal action by you.
However you have the legal responsibility - under Article 134 of the Uniform Code Of Military Justice - to protect the troops under your command by relieving the President of his MILITARY command.
If you have reason to believe that the President is responsible for disorders and neglects to the prejudice of good order and discipline in the armed forces and for conduct of a nature to bring discredit upon the armed forces, and crimes and offenses not capital then you have the obligation to act.
In addition to relieving him of his command as Commander-In-Chief, you also have authority to place the President under MILITARY arrest.

1998 would have been the right time.....(just sayin’)
Excuse me .. if there was a military coup in America - Huffington would be one of the first one to be put in jail!! What an idiot!!
Don’t these stupid people know WE HAVE THE GUNS ..????? AND THE MILITARY IS ON OUR SIDE - NOT THEIRS ..?????
.
What a blithering idiot!
In addition to relieving him of his command as Commander-In-Chief, you also have authority to place the President under MILITARY arrest.
Wouldn't arresting the president interfere with his civilian duties? Just a little bit?
Couldn’t help but re-post this comment. It is not mine.

This whole thing is too ludicrous for comment.
Lewis clearly has no clue, whatsoever, about how things work.
The President, not being a member of the Armed Forces, simply isnt subject to the UCMJ.
A little issue brought up, and resolved, when President Clintons lawyer suggested that as Commander in Chief, Clinton could invoke the Soldiers and Sailors Civil Relief Act to protect him against Paula Jones lawsuit while he was in office.
END
ha ha ha
Just damn...
Of all the people in all the country does this idiot really believe that he has found a hidden secret formula for getting rid of the president that nobody else has ever thought about?????
Good lord! I like listening to these people because they make me feel so sane and normal.
I would go ever to HP and read some of the asinine comments but I have to go turn my lawn sprinklers off.
Good luck with that HUFFPO. This military guy took an oath to protect against all enemies foreign and domestic. A lot of Democrats act like the domestic kind in my book. I wonder if I might ever get the order to seize Harry, Nancy, Hillary, and Barack on charges of treason, and aiding and abetting the enemy in a time of war. We all have our pipe dreams even if it will never come to pass.
This title is redundant.
Some think that bitch is reserved for female dogs.
TITLE 18—CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
PART I—CRIMES
CHAPTER 115—TREASON, SEDITION, AND SUBVERSIVE ACTIVITIES
Sec. 2387. Activities affecting armed forces generally
(a) Whoever, with intent to interfere with, impair, or influence the
loyalty, morale, or discipline of the military or naval forces of the
United States:
(1) advises, counsels, urges, or in any manner causes or
attempts to cause insubordination, disloyalty, mutiny, or refusal of
duty by any member of the military or naval forces of the United
States; or
(2) distributes or attempts to distribute any written or printed
matter which advises, counsels, or urges insubordination,
disloyalty, mutiny, or refusal of duty by any member of the military
or naval forces of the United States—
Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten
years, or both, and shall be ineligible for employment by the United
States or any department or agency thereof, for the five years next
following his conviction.
(b) For the purposes of this section, the term ``military or naval
forces of the United States’’ includes the Army of the United States,
the Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Naval Reserve, Marine
Corps Reserve, and Coast Guard Reserve of the United States; and, when
any merchant vessel is commissioned in the Navy or is in the service of
the Army or the Navy, includes the master, officers, and crew of such
vessel.
Or maybe this one:
TITLE 18—CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
PART I—CRIMES
CHAPTER 115—TREASON, SEDITION, AND SUBVERSIVE ACTIVITIES
Sec. 2389. Recruiting for service against United States
Whoever recruits soldiers or sailors within the United States, or in
any place subject to the jurisdiction thereof, to engage in armed
hostility against the same; or
Whoever opens within the United States, or in any place subject to
the jurisdiction thereof, a recruiting station for the enlistment of
such soldiers or sailors to serve in any manner in armed hostility
against the United States—
Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five
years, or both.
The funniest thing about that is that the “author” of those words was probably trembling as he typed, thinking “I am about to commit this nation to taking a path no one has ever taken!” or somesuch hooey.
The President, not being a member of the Armed Forces, simply isnt subject to the UCMJ. ........... Did he resign his USAFR/TANG comission? Clinton never served, he chose to avoid serving in the military. He may have been classified 4F due to his bad back problem, rumor has it, they couldn’t remove the yellow streak?
I doubt medical science has yet discovered a treatment for treason.
More mechanical methods are generally used.
I thought they couldn’t get something out that was lodged in there. Was it a stick, or a pineapple or somesuch?
I thought they were peaceniks and pacifists? I guess they only wage war on America, not on America’s enemies.
