The Last Hollywood Conservative (Vanity)
27 AUG 07 | Old Sarge

Posted on 08/27/2007 6:20:54 AM PDT by Old Sarge

Here is the topic for an attempt at serious discourse: Who Was The Last Hollywood Conservative?

Ronald Reagan: Left Hollywood for the political arena;

John Wayne: Passed away in the 70's before Reagan was elected to the Presidency, still making films up to his death;

Charlton Heston: Was still working in the 1990's before Alzheimer's took him;

Please, discuss this with me and, if you can, add to the list?

Like I said, I don’t vouch for the list, I cut and pasted from a Reagan forum... maybe Cooper’s a “closet” Republican, LOL.

To: television is just wrong
So is James Wood.

I've heard James Woods say he's still a democrat, but he's in favor of the War on Terror.

The list assumes that if you once said anything bad about any Democrat, which Manson did, that automatically makes one a conservative.

Why does it matter? It’s not like we look to Hollywood for political guidance.

I was surprised too.

She performed at Republican Inaugurations and she’s been a part of a few conservative mailings I’ve received.

I also recently heard her interviewed. A class act.
