(((Thank you!)))
We heard from my DIL and also from my MIL, who also lives where they do, and he is out of surgery and resting “comfortably”.....probably resting all drugged up. It seems that his appendix burst, so they had to do a full surgery. He will be out of commission for a month. Maybe they’ll forget about him and he won’t have to go to the Sandbox! :D Well, a Mom can hope!
Thanks for all your sweet prayers. They mean a lot and are very comforting to us.
((((hugs)))) to all!
Thank God this did not happen on his flight..Prayers for no complications...Mom’s are allowed to think your thoughts about their “forgetting” about him..(((HUGS)))
this weekend we of our "active adults community" (read: OLD fogies!) are having a "potluck feed" again.
i understand that there will be homemade sourdough rolls, pastries, pies, salads,BBQ, German food, French food, Vietnamese & Indian (of the Asian sort) food.
fyi, i've been asked to make 2 pots of TX-style chili. (i think i'll also make a few dozen enchiladas.)

Like Anakin said, "I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere."
Let's pray your son can stay home w/ his sweetie!
*Swoon*
Good point Meg!
Thank God it didn’t happen in flight!
Our prayers are with you, Luv!

Wow,Thank God they caught it in time.
Yes, can you imagine how it would have been if they had been in the air when he started having the pain. EGAD!
I just wish I could go up there, but I don’t see how it could be arranged so quickly and it’s an 8-hour drive. I don’t want to be in the way either. I just hate that my DIL has no help with the baby, unless my MIL can do it (she’s 87, though!). She is good to help others, and I know she’ll be there for them.
I feel rather helpless......
*HUG*
We all do when something like this happens...
Hang in there!

Yes, Fatima...God was definitely watching over my hero this time!
....and if it keeps him in the States, all the better! :D
I will, Sis. Having my FRiends to hold my hand does help a lot!
I can hardly wait to get a call with an up-date on his condition, though.
He is very healthy, though, and rarely ever gets sick or complains. God bless him!
I was praying for him while I was driving. We prayed for him on the air yesterday:)Also for your family.
Glad to hear that all is well. Don’t appendixes cause pain for some time before bursting? Poor guy. Prayers for his speedy recovery.
((HUGS))
I’m sure he will be just fine!
He’s young and healthy, he’ll do fine!
Doesn’t ease the worry, I know...
*HUG*

Oh, LUV..I know how you must feel. I am always better off “doing” than “stewing”... Pray that if you are truly needed they will let you know. Sometimes waiting for word is the hardest thing to do. May God give you comfort.
More prayers for an uneventful recovery....He will be out of commission for longer than a month.
Gotta get a bunch of antibiotic coverage to avoid peritonitis and it takes a while for those abdominal muscles to knit...And then he can start getting fit again.
Prayers for Davids swift recovery Luv! That is some crazy timing!
Sending you a big *Hug* too!
That’s what I told her on the phone this morning, Sissy...
*smooch*
