“Many men who solicit sex in public places often are conflicted sexually and seek sex in those locations to maintain anonymity, psychiatric experts say.”

Sure. Blow me.

“What I don’t understand is why we have undercover cops trolling restrooms for gays.”

I bet it has something to do with making revenue off of perverts eager to be on their way. Otherwise they would have uniformed cops standing in plain view, not a sting operation where a cop sits on a can and strains to percieve the Secret Code of the Homo.

Thank you, Cvengr. I am in agreement with you as to why God judges a nation or nations. If the Christian population were not in need of chastisement, the general population would usually in much better shape as well. I am with you in suffering in my spirit more over the apostasies of the “Christian” denominations, fellowships, association, etc., than over the wickedness of the world. We should expect the world to be the world. It follows a course specified (Ephesians ch. 2). But we should cry aloud when those who name the Name of Christ follow that same course.

Thanks again. Pray for us. Ministering in China.

Any post that reveals the hatred and extreme prejudice of a person on this site enables people to call this a hate site...one can find homosexuality offensive and even sinful without calling people names...as a teacher I have encountered several young, sincere boys in the age range of 11 through 14 who were not sexually active but were homosexual in their orientation...I did not find them to be disgusting perverts just young boys very scared of their feelings who were often targeted for abuse by the young boys in the class out to prove their manhood.

Artillerymen used to say “Rounds’ OUT!” as soon as they fired a salvo.

Believer to believer,..”Prayers OUT!”

We all have our own OPINIONS about the homosexual lifestyle and its facets which we ARE ENTITLED TO. It is not hatred, it is not prejudice...it is disgust and revulsion. Liberals cannot separate these things, apparently.

You are right...everyone is entitled to their opinions and feelings BUT expressing those feelings and opinions is not always called for...I just don’t want Free Republic to get slammed as a hate site...expressing disgust toward any person or group reveals anger and anger is personal and often construed as hate-filled...I may share your anger and disgust but choose to present reasoned arguments on this very public forum.

I don’t really care who is gay or why, so long as they keep it to themselves...and I think most of them do. I think this undercover cop must’ve been giving signals that he was receptive to this kind of advances. I find it hard to believe that any gay man would go after a total stranger like that without some sort of idea that the advance would be received amicably.

Any gay man who thinks public sex means privacy, given how many well-known (and not so well-known) men have gotten caught at it, would have to be invincibly clueless. Not knowing who your new friend and (you hope) their not knowing who you are is anonymity, which is not quite the same thing.

I don’t even like to use most public rest rooms for the purposes they were built.

I can’t imagine the public rest room as a place to meet sexual partners.

These people might just as well lick the urinals and commodes.

I think you can have one as long as its not bigger then the width of your hand or so my son is telling me
~~~~~~~~~~~~
That’s not entirely accurate. Your hand has nothing to do with it. It’s the hand of the cop that matters. Cops are taught to judge a knife to be illegal if the “edge” is longer than their palm is wide. So if your hands are bigger than the cops hands, you could be in trouble.
Not all cities use that rule though. Some say 4 inches is the limit.
Well, it’s not an attractive behavior, but I think the guy is exactly right.
Why would any normal person find satisfaction in that kind of sordid, anonymous sex?
Because that person wants sordid, anonymous sex. There have always been the bathhouses, the special parks, the streets one can cruise, but I’d say an airport restroom would be the most anonymous one could find.
Why do movie stars use prostitutes? When they could obviously have willing and attractive partners... because it is anonymous and non-binding.
I doubt if you, or very many straight men, have been approached in a restroom.
That’s why they have signals and responses.
All this ‘beat the crap’ out of talk is stupid. However, were I a guy I would not hesitate to call the cops if I witnessed this kind of stuff in a restroom.
The public should be protected.
First, FR is not a hate site. Never has been and never will be. Second, disgust, anger and hate are three very different things — get a dictionary.
Liberal interpretation of statements that libs do not like is common nowadays — the media is full of lib-talk, trying to spin fact and anti-liberal opinion into their favorites — “hate” and “unfairness”. So it is easy to spot libs when they do not like the opinions of others. Real easy. They use these words over and over in a weak attempt to label those whose opinions and positions they do not like.
Sorry I am not a man. But my son as a teen was hit on by a gay guy until his older brother stepped in. It was at a NJ turnpike rest room. So yes it happens. And if my husband was got his foot touched or any of their other signals he would beat the cr@p out of the gay guy. Thats just how he is....I never use the rest rooms on the turnpike anymore. I hope this is a guy thing as I really don’t like to use rest rooms as it is...
P.S. We don’t seem to have the same problems in the women’s rooms, at least as far as I’ve noticed, anyway
I had to spoil things but not every person in a dress with makeup on is a woman.
Look how many straights want that title “Mile High Club” by having sex on an airplane toilet. It is definitely a person trait.
I didn't think total strangers typically figured into the "Mile High Club" like they are in public restrooms
Yep, I know in Germany a lot of public restrooms have someone permanently stationed there, constantly cleaning up. One reason you typically have to pay a small tip. Usually, as someone said, an elderly woman—and well, the places tend to be pretty spotless, compared to the states. I’m sure too the official presence also keeps down the perverts ...
Germany is odd too if you go to the beach (or river). Folks will change their clothes right there, with no towel, and everyone as a matter of politeness doesn’t stare, they just mind their own business. 95% of the women though wear full bathing suits or bikinis though, at least where I was on Lake Constance. A few were topless, but usually, the ones you wished they’d rather not...
