Brussels, the capital of Belgium, prides itself on being the capital of Europe and of the Atlantic Alliance. The city, where the European Union and NATO headquarters are located, has no fewer than three U.S. ambassadors...During the past six years Freddy Thielemans, the mayor of Brussels, allowed 3,500 demonstrations. He banned only six...as a rule everyone...is allowed to demonstrate in Brussels.

Two weeks ago Thielemans issued his sixth ban. "Stop the Islamization of Europe" (SIOE), a pan-European organization led by a Dane, an Englishman and a German, was denied permission to demonstrate on September 11 against the introduction of Shariah law in Europe. Many European countries are introducing elements of Shariah law, such as granting welfare benefits to polygamous families, prohibiting private soup kitchens from distributing pork, banning Muhammad cartoons...

SIOE planned to bring 20,000 to 50,000 participants to Brussels from 26 European countries. The march would end in front of the European Parliament building with one minute of silence for the victims of the September 11 terror attacks in America. According to the mayor, however, the latter is an indication of SIOE's criminal nature.

"I decided to forbid the September 11 demonstration," the mayor wrote, because "First and foremost the organizers have chosen the symbolic date of 9/11...

...the true reason why Mr. Thielemans banned the SIOE demonstration is his fear of upsetting the large Muslim population of Brussels...Though Mr. Thielemans has forbidden the SIOE demonstration, he gave permission for a demonstration in Brussels on Sept. 9 by United for Truth (UfT), a group of conspiracy theorists who claim that the attacks of September 11 were organized by the Bush administration...

Americans should ask themselves whether a city with a mayor like Mr. Thielemans deserves to be the capital of the Atlantic Alliance....

Veiled girl gang in Stockholm attacks old ladies

A group of five teenage girls have been accused of a wave of vicious attacks against old women in Stockholm…

The girls, aged 17 and 18, have been remanded in custody for attacking the women in Tensta and Rinkeby, suburbs of the capital.

Their victims, mostly in their seventies and eighties, were usually mugged outside their homes…

In one of the muggings, the girls stole a 71-year-old’s handbag and pushed her down a flight of steps. In another case, a 78-year old woman was pushed to the ground and kicked where she lay.

The girls worked in groups and wore veils during the attacks, making it harder for the police to identify them.

The survey showed that in the last year, 17% of the boys had forced someone to have sex, 31% had hurt someone so badly that the victim required medical care, and 24% had committed burglary or broken into a car. Sensational statistics — but in all of Sweden, they appear to have been published only in a daily newssheet that is distributed free on the subways.

Stockholm Suburb: “It’s too Dangerous for Children here, Many are Wearing Bulletproof Vests”

Nalin Pekgul, a well-known Social Democratic advocate of suburbs with a high concentration of immigrants, is leaving her own suburb Tensta because she thinks it has become too insecure. Tensta has become too dangerous for the children, she says. Nalin Pekgul, who is a Muslim herself, has also noted that fundamentalist variants of Islam are growing stronger in Tensta. Her children come home and wonder why their mother doesn’t wear a hijab or why their family don’t go to the mosque. They also have heard that Muslims are better than Christians. “I don’t like it when my son comes home and says that ‘Mom, we Muslims don’t lie, but Christians do, because they don’t have God.’ He hasn’t got that from us . We had not reckoned on this religious fundamentalism,” she says.

Immigrant Rape Wave in Sweden

The number of rape charges in Sweden has quadrupled in just above twenty years. Rape cases involving children under the age of 15 are six - 6 - times as common today as they were a generation ago. Most other kinds of violent crime have rapidly increased, too. Instability is spreading to most urban and suburban areas.

An Islamic Mufti in Copenhagen sparked a political outcry after publicly declaring that women who refuse to wear headscarves are “asking for rape.” Apparently, he’s not the only one thinking this way. “It is not as wrong raping a Swedish girl as raping an Arab girl,” says Hamid. “The Swedish girl gets a lot of help afterwards, and she had probably f***ed before, anyway. But the Arab girl will get problems with her family. For her, being raped is a source of shame. It is important that she retains her virginity until she marries. It is far too easy to get a Swedish whore…… girl, I mean;” says Hamid, and laughs over his own choice of words. “Many immigrant boys have Swedish girlfriends when they are teenagers. But when they get married, they get a proper woman from their own culture who has never been with a boy. That’s what I am going to do. I don’t have too much respect for Swedish girls. I guess you can say they get f***ed to pieces.”

The New York Times and Sweden: The Dark Side of Paradise

Ethnologist Maria Bäckman, in her study “Whiteness and gender,” has followed a group of Swedish girls in the suburb of Rinkeby outside Stockholm, where native Swedes have been turned into a tiny minority of the inhabitants due to rapid immigration… Bäckman relates that several of the girls she interviewed stated that they had dyed their hair to avoid unwanted attention and sexual harassment. They experienced that being blonde involves old men staring at you, cars honking their horns and boys calling you “whore.”…

The official explanation given by Swedish authorities to the increase [in rape charges] is that much of it is a “technical” increase due to the fact that more victims of rape now report this crime to the police. There is not a hint of evidence for this explanation. On the contrary, intimidation of people reporting any kind of crime to the police has rapidly worsened in Sweden during the same time period. Threats against witnesses in Swedish court cases quadrupled between 2000 and 2003 alone… Street violence of all kinds is soaring on a national level. Private security companies are in great demand in major Swedish cities, as a serious lack of police to combat rising crime has made many citizens tired of being robbed.. Gangs of 14- and 15-year-olds raping and robbing is now common in many Stockholm suburbs… At the same time, the underfunded and undermanned Swedish police officers feel “unmotivated” to fight crime, according to a study made by police researcher Stefan Holgersson, who interviewed 2000 Swedish police officers.

Sweden is a country that has virtually no public debate about mass immigration, which continues at full speed. A high school teacher in Malmö discovered that about a dozen Arab students were laughing and shouting “Allahu Akbar!” while watching a DVD of infidel hostages being beheaded in Iraq. The headmaster didn’t think the incident was such a big deal. At least 139 schools in Sweden suffered arson attacks during 2002 alone, a number which by 2007 has grown to at least 230. Such as an incident in Malmö, where three schools were put on fire during one night. “Teenage boys” are suspected to behind the arson. Björn Vinberg from the fire department in Kroksbäck in the Malmö area says it’s humiliating and degrading to put out fires again and again in the same immigrant areas, with school kids laughing at them and lighting a new one just afterwards. His colleagues have been to the same place no less than twenty times, all totally unnecessary.

From The Local, January 12, 2007: Rival gangs of 10-year-olds in the eastern town of Söderhamn have threatened to wipe each other out. One of the gangs is made up of indigenous Swedes and the other of immigrants, and police in the town are taking the problem very seriously. The conflict has escalated on the Internet, and police fear that there may be fatalities if the fighting is not stopped.

In 2006, a man was attacked and nearly killed for the crime of wearing clothes with his own national flag while Sweden was participating in the World Cup. Sweden, of course, has the same Christian cross in its flag as does England, and apparently, some “Multicultural youths” found this to be an intolerable provocation. The 24-year-old man was run down by a car in the city of Malmö. According to the police, he was wearing some clothes with Swedish national symbols on them, and this “provoked some emotions.”

Saudis 'ban' pan-Arab newspaper

Saudi newsstands did not offer al-Hayat on Monday or Tuesday

Saudi Arabia has reportedly banned an influential pan-Arab newspaper after it criticised government ministries.

Sources at the al-Hayat daily said it was banned after refusing to abide by information ministry orders, including scrapping a column by a Saudi writer.

The paper, owned by a top Saudi prince, was not distributed this week in the conservative kingdom, officials said.

Recent columns by Abdul Aziz Suwaid had tackled health care problems and a wave of mysterious deaths among camels.

The government has blamed about 2,000 camel deaths on poor feed, denying the presence of an infectious disease.

Other reports say the ban followed al-Hayat's disclosure that a Saudi extremist had played a key role in al-Qaeda in Iraq.

Saudi information officials have not commented on the reason for the ban, nor has the newspaper made any statements about it.

Al-Hayat's headquarters are in London and it has offices and is distributed throughout the Middle East.

It is owned by Prince Khaled bin Sultan, Saudi Arabia's deputy defence minister and son of its crown prince, Sultan bin Abdul Aziz.

It describes itself as "an independent, international and Arab political daily paper".

The paper has recently been cutting down in London owing to cost problems and relocating most of its operation to Lebanon.

While we all understand the media tendency to amplify bad news, I would suggest that, in the case of muslim extremism across the European continent, the media has been very kind to muslims.

We also understand that not all muslims are bad, or desire the kind of problems that their radical ilk are fomenting around the world. And we don’t hate all muslims. Most of us, anyway. But what you might need to understand is that radical Islam is creating a great deal of trouble in the world and it is getting virtually no opposition among the “good” muslims.

This tells me that they are either not too concerned about the likely outcome of this, or that they are afraid to act. I imagine the latter, as the radicals are nasty people. But if they don’t stand up on the side of good, and against these evil radicals, they will eventually be completely lumped in with them.

So your nice, decent muslim colleagues will be in this later, if not sooner, if they don’t get off their rear ends and join the rest of us in the war against radical Islam.

As for the destruction of European society, well, I’ve personally watched liberalism destroy Europe over the last three decades. And now I see the damage that muslims are doing, for a variety of reasons, and the apparent collusion between them and the press and government. It is sad, but fear not. It is happening in the USA, as well!

It’s really quite similar don’t you think ? Muslims are identified as carrier of a disease called terror. Talking in arabian is enough to evacuate an airliner - if you are a muslim you will be frequently asked to distance yourself from terrorism.

It’s undeniable there are very agressive forms of islam and the world would be a better place without these - but what about the billions of people that are not agressive ?

Many muslims are among those who oppose terror (as for example those guys who were arrested for talking arabian) - it’s just as if they didn’t exist. Noone takes notice of them - and especially at freep it’s hard to find someone willing to open an eye on them.

Certainly they don’t have good organisations structures - if the pope speaks out it’s published nearly without a lag in time - if some imam says so or so - well you know there are many of them.

Cologne - just 60km from where I am has more muslims then most big cities in europe - i’ve been to a turkish wedding some years ago - above 1000 people turned up.

The couple marrying there both (yup even her) made their degrees in chemistry - these folks got Ph.D titels and a quite nice 6 digit yearly income - they talk fluent german they pay their taxes, they help their neighbours - why should they dictance themselfs from terrorism ?

Noone has the right to accuse anybody of beeing a terror suspect just because he or she blieves in islam - it’s not only politicaly incorrect it’s unfair, uneducated, moraly wrong in many instances and it helps the terrorists.

A more appropriate question is "why would they not distance themselves...?

Your six figure friends are very much like a number of muslims I know here in the US; decent, working, willing to help out; and utterly impassive to the terrorism that others carry out in their names.
They don't participate and they don't oppose.
They would not harm you and they would not punish the lunatic who did (if he was muslim).
Their history tells them that acts of terrorism, intolerance, tribalism, and daily violence are just that - daily occurrences and entirely ordinary. "No big deal"

To their eyes, comfortable as it may be, western society is an aberration.

If you don't understand by this time that islam breeds a society totally at odds with any you've experienced since 1945, you are well on the way to finding out.

the one most famous for that line was marilyn monroe. she sang it to president kennedy. she died in 1963 of a drug overdose. she was never banned from radio. but then she didn’t sing much. she was more of a movie star.
