The Fox All-Stars on Friday, discussing the rumor that Craig would resign effective Sept. 30, disapproved of him putting off his departure till the end of September. There will be important things happening in September (such as Petraeus’ report) and it would make sense for the new senator to be in place. Plus it does no good to the Republican Party to have this disgraced character hanging around for another month.

Senator Craig’s resignation was a class act, unlike most GOP speeches. I didn’t hear Sen. Craig attempt to place one word of blame on the Clintons for his own criminal conduct.
I think this is disgusting. Stop and think what happened to this man. He was in a stall in a bathroom with a door on it. He supposedly tapped his foot. He supposedly bumped the foot of the other man - - whose foot, by the way had to be very close to the edge of HIS STALL in order for Craig’s foot to bump it. His hand supposedly appeared below the panel in the stall. He never spoke a word. The cop also said he peered in the crack of the other stall door.
This is disorderly conduct? If a U. S. Senator can be can be coerced to admit to a crime based on the above, think what could happen to an ordinary person.
I don’t care if the man is gay or not. This is a very sad thing.
