Too damn bad! The stereotype has been set by Islam and 9-11.
I have one question.
Why didn’t these men know that speaking Arabic( when they could have conversed in English) on a plane would make them suspicious? If they work for the US government you’d think they’d realize that, in light of airline safety checks, etc.
They chose to use Arabic instead of English.
The woman chose to protect herself and her children.
Possible offense -vs-possible death.
She was right. I would have done the same thing.

Time, my friend, is precious, but so too is life itself. I would rather this woman err on the side of caution then wrap herself in a politically correct cocoon. These Iraqis could have simply understood her concerns, but instead they chose to but their feelings before their patriotism. There is too much of that bulls*&t going around today. It is time for people to grow up. This is no longer the Clinton Years.
I’m fine with what this woman did. A parent traveling with children is going to be protective.
This incident doesn't rise to the level of the "Flying Imams" or even the fear felt by Annie Jacobsen on the flight which apparently featured a dry run for a terrorist attack.
I'd hire a lawyer, too.
It has always seemed to me that Arabs should be prepared to identify themselves well. That is, if they want a smooth trip and not a lawsuit.
These guys were from Iraq. None of the 9/11 hijackers were Iraqis.
This ninny owes an apology to everyone who missed their flight thanks to her crybaby behavior.
Sorry, but I have no sympathy. He may have been out in the desert helping to save Marines lives, but the marines are out in HIS country trying to save his country, his damn people and their lives.........
If he got profiled then tough crap..............Furthermore, if he doesn't like it then he can fly back home to his brick 40'x 40' luxury condo..........

Since I returned frpm Viet Nam we have had many fellow citizens “assume” we were PTSD laden victims walking around with a hair trigger ready to explode at any given moment.
No one’s ever had a problem “assuming” that about Veterans.
If they can view us and be afraid of us, when all we wished to do was get on with our lives, Muslims need to understand the fear we currently have.
Until they take a stand, and I mean all of them, not just a few like these 7, what else could they expect? Being aware and somewhat fearful has kept many a person alive to tell tales of the experience later.

Right afteer 911, my pastor, of Lebanese extraction, and a friend of Indian extraction, were scheduled to go to Mongolia on a missions trip. They postponed it because of their looks. My pastor resembles Usama bin laden!

And if you think you're mad, well, I'd imagine the people who MISSED THEIR FREAKING FLIGHTS THANKS TO THIS TOTAL MORON were pretty ticked off as well.
I'm mad too. I'm mad because I fly very often and it ticks me off that hysterical women like this one can get a case of the vapors because a swarthy Arab is on her flight, hyperventilate over alleged "suspicious" behavior (that no one else witnessed) and ground the entire flight at a great inconvenience to the other passengers.
People like this woman really need to just stay home (or take Amtrak).
Methinks your response is misdirected! The airline is guilty of blowing this situation out of proportion. The Mom wanted to de-plane, not mess with everyones’ schedules. Do you have kids,Drew? Of course you’re a man ..so you think differently than a Mom! So scale back your criticism a bit
