Angry house guest causes great damage
STAR ISLAND, Fla., Sept. 2 (UPI) -- A house guest trashed a Florida multimillionaire developer's patio, causing $50,000 in damage -- and claiming she did it because he owes her money.
Shakia Dasamon Mitchell, 26, met 50-year-old Thomas Kramer in an online chat room. Kramer told The Miami Herald he later invited Mitchell, of Dallas, to south Florida for the weekend, offering his Star Island mansion as a place to stay.
Shortly after Mitchell arrived Aug. 24, she began arguing with Kramer at a nearby restaurant, saying he had promised her $10,000. Kramer claimed there had never been any mention of any money, the Herald reported.
Kramer then instructed his caretaker and housekeeper to pack Mitchell's belongings. He gave her $1,000 for a cab to the airport and extra money.
Mitchell later arrived at Kramer's mansion, jumped the fence and began throwing and smashing various items around the patio, the newspaper said.
Mitchell was arrested on charges of burglary and battery, the latter stemming from when she allegedly smacked a Kramer employee, the Herald reported.

I’m told that if people jump over your border, and damage the place where you live, you just have to live with it and allow them to stay with you. If we actually tried to enforce our laws against this sort of thing, it would just lead to trouble.

I don't know. He threw her $1000 just for cab fare. He must've wanted her out of his house pretty quickly.
Ironically, I just finished looking that movie up on imdb.com.
