DALLAS There's new information today on an overweight father going to extreme measures to adopt a child.
Gary Stocklaufer says he's still being treated unfairly by a judge in his home state of Missouri. Despite having weight loss surgery in Dallas, he received notice from a judge overruling his motion for a rehearing to adopt his cousin's son.
Back in June, the Stocklaufers petitioned to adopt 4-month-old Max, who had lived with them since he was a week old. Gary was denied the adoption because he was overweight.
When news of the court denial spread a hospital in Dallas agreed to provide Gary with Laparoscopic Obesity or Lap-Band surgery for free.
So, why is Rosie O’Donnell able to adopt kids then?
I wonder what “legal” precedence or law this ruling was based on?
If he substituted another vice in place of gluttony he’d be able to adopt immediately.
She’s rich and lesbian, that’s why/s
There are many related threads on this guy.
Here is one.

Was he planning to eat the kid, or what?
Did you notice there was no mention of Gary’s wife?
Perhaps Gary is just a Big Fat Queer and that is actully why they will not permit him to adopt.
Fat Bastard?
“Get in my belly!”
Too bad the poor guy didn’t say he was queer, then no problem to adopt and abuse a child.
Maybe someone else has their heart set on adopting the baby.
The judge is acting strangely something must be going on behind the scenes.
There is actually a website: eatbabies.com.
But apparently the judge let the couple adopt a previous child when the man was at the same weight, and let the couple have custody of this one while the adoption process took place. Assuming there were no problems with either child, I don't see how the judge could reasonably argue that the man was a fit father to the previous child but not this one. What is his right to appeal, if any?
Too bad he wasn’t just a promiscuous homosexual.
Follow the money!
They said it’s his cousin’s son. Is there a healthy closer relative who is getting priority? That would make more sense than saying “you’re too fat”. It could be a matter of “maternal aunt” or “married younger couple who are also cousins” get priority.
Over weight guard had to be weighed ever day.
The coach said “These scales only go to 350 pounds.
After that humans leave off and livestock begins.”
His teammates said “MOO”.
