I wondered if the Mexican Trucks would be crossing the border starting at 12:01 AM. I also wondered if the teamsters, or the Sierra Club or anyone else would be doing a blockade.

I don’t think most Americans even know that the Mexican Trucks rolling onto our Highways is going to happen on Thursday.

I think it’s great that most Freepers, and DU’ers have found an issue they agree on as far as the Mexican Trucks.

Jim Santangelo of the Teamsters was just on Al Rantel’s show talking about the Mexican trucks coming. He’s inviting everyone to come down to San Diego at Otay Mesa for the viewing on Thursday.

This is another example of Jorge the decider and Congress giving the middle finger to American workers. They would give away every American job if they could...and they’re trying hard...

I hope to hear soon of reports that these trucks were pulled over because concerned citizens complained about their unsafe driving. Maybe we could also find out their defense for not stopping at scales or for log book violations. When a Mexican driver is given a traffic ticket, how many does he get before losing license? Will he be allowed to just drive off after posting bond? Video cameras should be set up at most points of entry to document these 100 carriers that will be coming in. I bet there will be a lot more just like their walking/swimming amigos.

The protest got good national coverage on the TV.
Another problem is POLLUTION. The Mexicans truck burn low grade cheap mexican diesel which containes BANNED amounts of sulfur. The EPA doesn’t allow this kind of polluting fuel to be burned in trucks or in ocean tankers anymore!
The sulfur is NOT green and causes acid rain.
Acid rain remember that crusade 10 years ago for the EPA to stop?
With mexican trucks, it’s BACK!
No thanks.
Why doesn’t the media/press bring this sulfur matter up?
