“Thanks for posting. I didn’t get to see the debate. Hunter really looked and sounded good. Very presidential!”

I thought so too. But I am very disappointed that Hunter is not given equal attention in these debates. Most of the questions are directed to the so called top three candidates. My wish is that Fred Thompson picks Duncan Hunter as VP. :)

Hi I am new to the Free Republic I just signed up to post but have read Free Republic for months now. It is the best place to find news on Duncan Hunter. At the end of last year I started doing research on possible GOP president contenders and when I found Duncan Hunter I have not turn back from supporting him and have made a point of telling everyone that will listen what a a great president Duncan Hunter would be for this country.

I prefer it the other way around, but would just as hard for the team were it reversed.

We need them both and we can;t loose this one - to JulieAnnie or Mitty or to the Dems.

Either Lincoln or Reagan.

But I’m sure it was used collectively.

Fred Thompson is from Tennessee and was elected to the US Senate seat that was formerly held by Al Gore, when Gore left the Senate to become Clinton’s VP. He is a lawyer who served on the Watergate Committee in the Senate as Minority Counsel to Senate Republicans during those hearings. Besides a lawyer, actor and Senator, he has been a lobbyist in DC.

Hunter isn’t going to get the respect he has earned and deserves. Duncan Hunter is for securing the borders, ending illegal imigration and arresting and deporting the illegals here already. Plus he takes a tough stance on unfair trade policy with China. The inside-the-beltway crowd are for illegal aliens and kowtowing to China so they will not do Duncan Hunter any favors. That is just an obstacle we have to overcome.

Fred Thompson would do a marvelous job representing the inside-the-beltway’s interests. I’ll take Duncan, thank you!:)

Welcome!! You are among friends here.(for the most part) :) Always happy to add another Duncan Hunter supporter to the mix. Like you, I did research on him and really liked what I learned. The more I learn, the better Hunter looks.

Israel officials can’t understand why we wouldn’t want to build a fence. Fencing saves lives in Israel.

We, the American people, do want to build the fence by an overwhelming majority. The pinheads in Washington are standing in our way.

Hunter is not going to win jack. Neither are Paul, Tancredo, Huckabee, or Brownback.

Why don’t we just annoint a candidate and say to hell with the primaries.

With Thompson entering the race, we now have 4 serious candidates in the primaries. Isn’t that enough?

How about this one:

“I only sleep well at night when I know Congress isn’t in session”? (Or something very close to that.)

I do not care for Thompson or anyone of the other three so-called leading candidates. They certainly aren’t conservative. I believe conservatives should have at least one candidate in the race to support and vote for. For me, that one is Duncan Hunter.
