I agree that Newt is helping Thompson and when Thompson is elected Prez, Newt will get some cabinet position, most likely Secretary of State.

I also think that Guliani will be get the nod from Thompson to be the VP.

I am 100% with Fred Thompson!

Rudy is only on the stage because of 911. If 911 had not happened no one would care about him, period.

Please get over it and look beyond 911.

The next attack wont be anouther 911, it may be worse but more sutle, like the destruction of an oil supplier in the middle east, that would hurt us more than a direct attack on our infrastructure.

**“She is a flawed candidate”...**

She is a very flawed candidate and I am one that is afraid she will be President. We haven’t had anyone on the Republican side yet that just knocks your socks off! I have listened to Newt’s speeches on Cspan and I am not kidding, I think he is so intelligent........wishful thinking~~~~

Isn’t Huckabee all for amnesty? Anyone for illegal aliens will be a disaster on national security.

As for me, I wouldn’t need a doctor even though your post was not addressed to me.

No ordinary doctor for you... a psychiatrist.

I will mortgage my house to support Hunter in his run for the next governor of California. After two terms there he will have a good shot at the White House.

For President I’m supporting FDT.

I’m supporting Sen. Thompson. I sent him my next campaign contribution this morning. I hope that more will be forthcoming.

If I vote today, for me, it’s a toss-up between McCain or Giuliani.

I think the other candidates made a mistake sucking up to McCain and complimenting him. I forget who it was, Huckabee and Romney, that threw out the compliments . . . but it was not smart politics. They may have resuscitated a dead campaign when they thought they were just being magnanimous in victory over a worthy opponent.

Huckabee also promotes a national smoking ban. I do not trust him.

Hunter would be a heckuva VP candidate. He would bring along a lot of conservative activists. He doesn’t make mistakes even on tough questions. He’s strong. He’d do great in VP debates, especially against an Obama or Richardson type. He’d eat them for lunch. Then again he’d make a heckuva President.

I support Tancredo, Thompson and then maybe Hunter.

I will never vote for Rudy or Mitt.

Mitt comes over slick and phony. I have a problem with Rudy’s personal life. I wouldn’t vote for Clinton, I won’t vote for Rudy.

Ron Paul acts like a democrat and I don't trust him to protect the country.

Although I don’t like Tancredo’s stand on international affairs, he’s the only one willing to stand against illegal invasion from Mexico. To me, that is the second war on terror.

I went into the debate liking Romney, but came out liking Hucabee. Romney’s answers were horrible and Hucabee’s were perfect. I had not even given Hucabee a glance until last night. I have not read were anyone else agrees with me however. I thought he was the clear winner last night. I will study up more on him.

IIRC even Ann Coulter said she liked Romney - that is a heck of a conservative endorsement!
