It is not such a big deal out and about in the world. But in an airplane you've got people sardined in there for several hours. I think it is refreshing that the airline would make a rule about attire. What woman would want her husband riding next to that for several hours. Or her teenaged son. It isn't asking too much of travelers to dress more appropriately while they travel on an airplane. So what?
It's their company and they get to set the rules. If I fly on their airplanes, I'll be sure and not choose an outfit from my trampy selection of clothing. How inconvenient. /s
Since I am always the one to schedule flights for my family members, I'll prioritize a company with such courteous rules.

Of course we can see that Matt is executing what is known in the tv biz as the "Self-block" for the offending parts..

"they went out with the free beer."
I remember that. How many free beers can you drink in a 30 minute flight from Lubbock to Dallas?

More evidence to make an informed judgment, drop something on the floor and have her pick it up.

Southwest used to refuse to hire male flight attendees b/c having sexy female flight attendees was part of their corporate mission. This is too ironic.
