There’s a $20 word for that, carefully filed away in a place I can’t remember.

Anyone?

I don’t support Ron Paul. I never will again.

The following is my own humble opinion.

However, I find it idiotic when people say that ANYONE has ZERO chance of doing anything. Even more idiotic is to be irritated with someone else for not modifying their behavior based on your assumptions of the inevitability of a certain outcome. That being said, for people to continue supporting this loon after he has repeatedly shown himself to be a loon, well now that's nuts!

So, RuPaul will go 3rd party?

Is that what you want?

Read the thread. See the scary similarities between Paul and Perot.

And we all know what happened when Perot ran.

You want another Clinton in office thanks to Ron Paul running 3rd party?

They weren’t going to vote Republican anyway so it doesn’t matter. By distancing ourselves from Ru we can gain the support of more moderate voters.

Well, I do try to match them, of course, which is easy to do with brand new socks.

But hypothetically, I imagine mismatched socks would be just as nice, as long as they are both new and have the toe stitching in the same place.

Paul may have the last laugh. His supporters (libertarian, swing, populist, Reagan Democrats) aren't going to hold their nose for the GOP nominee. Bashing the candidate & his supporters whom votes you'll need in the general election. Brilliant political strategy there, simply brilliant.

Somehow I think the Paul supporters are gonna swing leftward, if this t-shirt is any indication:

Yah gotta realize, EEE - you are one of the few Paul defenders I've seen who hasn't bought into the antiwar nutbattery that infests Paul and his supporters. Most of them are getting impossible to tell if they are coming to Paul from the left or the right. They are entering that zone of absurdity where direction no longer exists, just rage and babbling.

So, RuPaul will go 3rd party?

No, Dr. Paul already stated to his wife that he won't go 3rd party or as an independent.

Is that what you want?

I won't support Paul if he goes 3rd party, but then again I don't speak for the thousands of other passionate Paul supporters who see their candidate being denigrated and mocked by the establishment and therefore won't vote for the nominee.

Read the thread. See the scary similarities between Paul and Perot.

I've read the thread. Most of it consists of cheesy jokes and the usual Paul smears. There is no similarities between Dr. Paul & Ross Perot other than on trade and balanced budgets. Paul served 10 terms in Congress. He has a solid pro-Constitution voting record.

And we all know what happened when Perot ran.

Perot ran under a different party. Paul has no intentions of running as a 3rd party candidate.

You want another Clinton in office thanks to Ron Paul running 3rd party?

But...but...Paul is a libertarian kook who won't get .00001% of the vote anyway, right? His supporters may write Paul in the general election. Actions have consequences. You don't think Paul's supporters are lurking & seeing their candidate get smeared day in and day out? Getting laughed at by Rudy and all of the other RINOs? And then you expect them to cheerfully vote for whoever the GOP nominee is?

Yes, the “Our Way or the Highway” strategy wins every time.

Since Paul has “no chance”, why are these people so hysterical?

Must really annoy some that Hunter doesn’t make it past the margin of error.

Really? It's nighttime here, but it's still kind of hot.

In fact, I'm not wearing socks right now.

Just some flip-flops.

I have REALLlY sensitive toes, so I wear my socks inside out to avoid the irritation from the seams.

It doesn't seem to matter if the socks are new or not, the seam is about the same, unless, of course, there are holes in the toes, in which case I turn them upside down as well as inside out and that seems to help.

I do find that if I don't wash them more than once a month, they tend to become all of a piece, you know?

Adore the tag line!

Honestly, no I don’t. If Rudy G. wins the GOP nomination.... Conservatives must take a pass on election day.

Republicans go vote for Rudy. But not conservatives.

They weren’t going to vote Republican anyway so it doesn’t matter.

There are a lot of old-line conservatives who support Paul among his base of supporters. People who remembered that the GOP used to stand for such things as limited gov't, low taxes, and a we-mean-business foreign policy. Paul is a dangerous candidate, whoever is the GOP nominee is going to need to peel off a good number of his supporters, and so far only Fred is the only one.

By distancing ourselves from Ru we can gain the support of more moderate voters.

Who do you think these "moderate" voters are? These are folks sick to death of politics as usual. Young voters who don't vote because they feel their vote won't count anyway. Libertarian, pro-freedom types. Use your head man, don't alienate Paul & his supporters just because you disagree with his foreign policy views (which is only ONE issue BTW).
