Fugitive fundraiser Hsu 'freaked out' on train, witness says

Fugitive political fundraiser Norman Hsu was behaving erratically as he fled the Bay Area on Amtrak's California Zephyr, at one point stripping off his shirt and shoes, before paramedics were called to take him off the train in western Colorado, passengers said Friday.

Hsu, 56, on the run for the second time from a 1992 grand theft conviction in San Mateo County, was arrested Thursday after the paramedics took him to a hospital from the train station in Grand Junction, Colo. A spokesman at St. Mary's Hospital said Friday night that Hsu was in fair condition but would not say what was wrong with him.

Hsu boarded the train in Emeryville about 7 a.m. Wednesday, Amtrak said, two hours before he was to have appeared in a Redwood City courtroom in connection with his grand theft conviction. He had touched down earlier that morning on a charter jet flight to Oakland, his lawyer told prosecutors. Amtrak said he boarded the Zephyr with a ticket for Denver.

Passengers interviewed Friday when the Zephyr reached its final destination of Chicago said it appeared that something was wrong with Hsu.

Alberto Dee, 21, who boarded the train in Truckee, said Hsu "freaked out" when Amtrak personnel approached, and was roaming a train car "without shoes and no shirt. ... I thought he had a suitcase full of crack or meth."

Another passenger disembarking in Chicago, who declined to give his name, said Hsu appeared disoriented and was having trouble opening a door on the train. Several other passengers said they were told Hsu was behaving oddly but did not witness it themselves.

Wonder what kind of drug the Clintons used, and how they slipped it to him. Also wonder if he realizes how lucky he is, so far, to not have ended up in Fort Marcy Park.

Being in jail just makes it easier for Hillary to MacDougal him.

Look for him to have a medical “incident” while in custody

He’s gonna crack.

Rockford: “Angel won’t crack, he’s tough, he’s been in the stir before.”

Angel: “It was the ROCKFORD GANG! There’s Jimmy, and his dad, and a whole mess of others...”

Hitlery’s sweating bullets.

If Hsu stays alive long enough to testify...

Sounds like the pressure is getting to him. He’s gonna pop open like a zit.

I wonder if he’s got anything on some other people that’ll make it useful for him to turn state’s evidence.

My thought also. Fear of Hillary/Chinese can also cause this. He might have been reading about Vince Foster.

What interests me about the Hsu case are those pictures of him standing next to Hillary Clinton, who is under continual Secret Service protection. This guy is a fugitive with a warrant out for him and the Secret Service doesn’t know that? What’s up with their vetting process?

Does anyone know how to verify that candidates do give illegal campaign funds to charities, and what the names of the charities are?

Is there any law that prohibits the charities from turning around and giving the $ back to the candidate?

Can candidate's campaign use amount as a charitable tax deduction? I have e-mailed several 'reporters' with these questions, with no response.

Yep. I'm predicting he'll die of a "heart attack".

Hsu apparently flew to the Bay area and then boarded the train. There was a day in which to slip him something.

But when asked whether Hsu posed a danger to himself, Brosnahan replied, "I have no basis for that speculation." Hey, Brossie, do you have a basis that the Arkansas mafia my pose a danger to Hsu...and to you?

AP has reported Hsu had a traveling companion Chan Il Soc who is Hsu’s food taster, was also acting strangely and was taken to a local hospital screaming “FOOD NO GOOD, FOOD NO GOOD”

Railroad tracks can be very dangerous.

Anyone have a list of past hit locations?

Planes, trains, automobiles, parks, country roads, . . .

Only safe places left it seems would be in orbit, in a submarine, or underground at Area 51.

I realize Mr. Ponzi’s name has been immortalized by a scheme in which the early “investors” are paid “profits” from money taken from later “investors”, but couldn’t we call this a Congressional Scheme. After all the biggest Ponzi Scheme is Social Security.

Someone on a chartered flight is an easy target, I’m surprised it made it in one piece.

Your questions are right on target:

“Does anyone know how to verify that candidates do give illegal campaign funds to charities, and what the names of the charities are?”

“Is there any law that prohibits the charities from turning around and giving the $ back to the candidate?”

How many of these so called charities are phoney non profits set up by the elite liberals to launder money from people like George $orea$$, Hsu and _______?

Note how in the first six paragraphs posted, the reporter fails to mention the party affiliation that Mr. Hsu raises funds for (or any of the politicians he raised money for). How con-VEEN-ient!
