What you fail to understand is that foreign policy is the one issue that the president has the most influence over.
How are we supposed to confront the threat of islamic facism, probably the greatest battle of civilizations since the cold war, when you have a candidate who not only supports an isolationist foreign policy, but completely dismisses the tenacity and relentlessness of islamic fundamentalism?
Ron’s stances are great on some issues, but as President, it’s the foreign policy that matters most. He has some pull on economic issues, but it would be disastrous if we were to allow ron paul to make the united states shy away from terrorists like clinton did at the crux of this war between western civilization and islamofacism.

Votes can be spun to whatever one wants them to make their target audience believe. The bottom line is that Paul is pro-life and supports border security - no, not just a fence that Hunter wants, A MILITARIZED BORDER with U.S. Army troops patrolling and an end to the welfare handouts and birthright citizenship. And Paul would still be a better CIC than the Democrats and authoritarians such as Rudy & Huckabee who would instantaneously create a police state under the guise of fighting terrorism. Apparently you want the gov't to be a security blanket for everyone. Remember what Ben Franklin said about giving up liberty? You have no argument here.

Someone else said earlier, He's the kind of guy who gives a speech and thinks he's solved a problem... in this case, Paul is the type of person who gives a speech and a cloak of invisibility suddenly obscures his votes and who he associates himself with.
Or, as another Freeper so eloquently put it, Ron Paul and Alex Jones are raising money on the blood of our troops by parroting Al Qaeda talking points.
