Wow, that’s a development, particularly on the anniversary of his wife’s death.

Ted’s a good troop. His late wife, Barbara was a wonderful person.

excellent! And I think the fact that he did lose his wife in an act of terror will boost his credibility in the fight against these monsters.

I know there are plenty of FR folk that think he’s too liberal because of his support of Gulianni, but I like him.

Between his involvement with Jonathon Pollard and the Arkansas project there are two constituencies who will likely make such a confirmation non-smooth.

Today is Ted Olson's birthday too. Tragically, Barbara ended up on Flight 77 because she wanted to be with Ted at least for a few minutes on his birthday, instead of leaving the day before for a West Coast speaking engagement.

Please visit the link in my tagline for a remembrance of Barbara Olson and all those murdered at the Pentagon that day.

My first choice from the moment of Gonzalez’ announcement of resignation.

An excellent choice, should have been him instead of Gonzalez before.

I don’t think the Demo Senate would even allow him a vote. Perhaps he would have stood a chance when the GOP had a majority but now i suspect they won’t give him a fair hearing.

Barbara O. was also a FReeper.

I’ll never forget watching Brit Hume announce her death on the afternoon of Sept. 11.
