Blogs for Freddie is a real objective source.
You would think such a big guy as Fred Thompson wouldn't be such a big baby.
No wonder he quit the Senate for Hollywood. The other Senators probably said mean things about him.

Sorry, I remember Dick Nixon's 'Dirty Tricks' campaign. It was prominently featured in some of the thousands of hours of congressional hearings I had the displeasure of watching in 73-74. A Republican is badly tarnished by anything reminiscent of this sort of thing.

You would think such a big guy as Fred Thompson wouldn't be such a big baby.Pot calling the kettle black. You'd have been better off ignoring the event. But you yourself have been squealing like crazy. That right there tells us Fred hit the mark. You're your own worst enemy.

I guess Romney never heard of Ronald Reagan’s 11th Commandment. No Republican is going to win in November if we do the Democrat’s job for them in the Primaries. Winning the Republican nomination and not the Presidency is worth less than nothing. Just as Algore and John F. Kerry (who served in Vietnam).

By his response to Romney here, he is sending a message loud and clear that he won’t be smeared without hitting back very hard. This is not a candidate to candidate attack on policy or issue, it was an underhanded smear attempt designed to create doubt without leaving fingerprints. That is exactly what the Clintons do. Fred is sending a shot across the bow that he won’t just “take it”. He’ll dish it right back in spades.
To: elizabetty
Are you a moron ? He didn’t “quit” the Senate, he served the two terms he promised. You know what “keeping your promises” means ? Your boy Precious Willard sure the hell doesn’t.

Fred sent a message to metrosexual nancy-boys like Mitt and rootie... you play dirty and I’m going to punch you in the nose... a punch with some amount of after affect... lasted three days so far. Keep up the attitude... Mitt will be in negative territory soon due to this campaign style you and the rest embrace.

Y’know, and another thing, too, lady... You obviously have no idea what was happening for Fred back 6 years ago. He had the distinct pleasure of watching his daughter die on him, and coupled with watching the ghastly corruption in DC that nobody, especially the rodents, wanted to do anything about, and even fellow Republicans trying to get him to break his 2-term pledge, he was quite fed up and was a broken man. Thanks to his wife and his two young children, they’ve given him a second lease on life that most of us would be quite blessed to receive. Before you shoot your mouth off, you should get your facts straight.

Track the attack back to her with a counter attack proving the underhanded dirty politics that surrounds the ‘toons. It will be hildebeast denying involvement instead of Mitt. You Mittites have tunnel vision!

Romney Campaign Unable to Distance themselves from "Anti-Fred" Website Debacle And the evidence for this...is?...because he says so.
Actually, his 'hard evidence' is that "the story reverberates across the blogosphere and around the internet."
In other words; spin.

I guess Romney never heard of Ronald Reagans 11th Commandment.Look, I will vote for Thompson if he's nominated, and will NOT vote for Romney no matter what. But elizabetty is right--this is a tempest in a teapot, simply overreaction.
With respect to the 11th Commandment, that doesn't seem to apply to Ron Paul. I think there is some selective indignation here.

No, the evidence for the assertion that the story is still reverberating is the article quoted in the post that keeps tying the attack to Romney. That’s only one article of several that are out this morning. This is still happening a full two days after being found out and after Romney spent an entire day yesterday trying to put it behind him.

I think there is some selective indignation here.I'm not sure but I don't think the 11th commandment applies to Giuliani either but I'll have to check the RudyTruthFile on that one. Oh that's right, the gatekeepers have decided Rudy is not really a Conservative Republican and doesn't fall under the 11th commandment. ;-) Still, if Fred considers that picture of him wearing colonial garb "smut" I wonder what he thinks of FR with all the pictures of Rudy in drag. Yeah this whole thing is manufactured indignation to try and keep a non-story alive.
