Hsu Leaves Hospital for Jail

A political fund-raiser from California, who was arrested last week but had remained hospitalized in Grand Junction while federal and state authorities worked on his extradition, was discharged from the hospital today and booked into Mesa County's jail, authorities said. Yung Yuen "Norman" Hsu, 56, was arrested last Thursday after becoming ill on an Amtrak train while traveling from San Francisco to Denver. He was booked into Mesa County's jail on an outstanding warrant from California because he does not have any local charges, sheriff's officials said. He is expected to be extradited to San Mateo County, Calif., and he's scheduled to appear in an advisement hearing by video from the jail tomorrow afternoon.

Last week, Hsu turned himself in to authorities in San Mateo and posted $2 million bond in connection with a 1992 felony case. He had been convicted of grand theft in a $1 million fraud scheme involving the sale of latex gloves. After going on the lam for several years in foreign countries, he resurfaced in New York City as a top fund-raiser for Democratic candidates, until his criminal history came to light.

Hsu has contributed more than $600,000 in the past three years and did fund-raising for federal, state and municipal candidates, including U.S. Sens. Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton, as well as U.S. Rep. Mark Udall, candidate for a Colorado Senate seat. Those candidates have since given Hsu's contributions to charities.

For the past week since his arrest, Hsu had been at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction and listed in "fair" condition. But neither doctors nor law enforcement authorities would reveal the nature of his illness. A San Francisco lawyer representing Hsu has hinted that the medical condition may involve mental-health problems

Didn’t he mail suicide notes to his friends?

Why do I get the feeling he'll mysteriously end up dead in Arkansas?

He’ll be dead by suicide as soon as Hillary can make the necessary arrangements.

Think he’ll make it back alive? Everyone else around the Clinton’s either died or disappeared.

Hsu is going to come clean and will get the incarceration coming to him. Hillary might get a “little” poll drop from this. A hit at this point would be insane.

Hsu has hinted that the medical condition may involve mental-health problems

That goes without saying, considering his support for Hillary.

I’m thinking sooner rather than later. Gotta get this out of the way and forgotten by the spring. Don’t expect a sloppy Foster job either. This will be McDougal all the way.

Grand Junction, Colorado is a great place to obtain Med Aid.
St. Mary’s Hospital has an outstanding Trama Center that service all of the Western Slope of the Rockies and all of Eastern Utah. They have Helio’s and Fix Wings for Dust Offs.
