Krawetz says the inner frame of bin Laden was resaved at least twice, and not at the same time. The images show fine horizontal stripes on bin Laden and a background indicating these came from interlaced video sources. In contrast, the text elements, such as the As-Sahab logo, appear to be from non-interlaced sources.
The September 7 video shows bin Laden dressed in a white hat, white shirt and yellow sweater. Krawetz notes "this is the same clothing he wore in the 2004-10-29 video. In 2004 he had it unzipped, but in 2007 he zipped up the bottom half. Besides the clothing, it appears to be the same background, same lighting, and same desk. Even the camera angle is almost identical." Krawetz also notes that "if you overlay the 2007 video with the 2004 video, his face has not changed in three years--only his beard is darker and the contrast on the picture has been adjusted."

From the get go, this video was almost laughable in it's masquerading as legit - why anyone, media or government, lent it the least bit of legitimacy is beyond me=

I become more convinced all the time. This video shook me a little at first with some of the curent affairs comments but it seemed hokey.
This makes since now. Use video spliced together with stillframe. Then use a vocal imitator to read the given speech on a perfect layover kind of like lipsinking in reverse. I’ll bet an analysis of the sound track woud find NO splicing at all. Just one steady reading of the script in front of the audio fraudulator.
Further, I would imagine that ALL the current affairs coments are on the “still frame” portion of the video.

I’m not sure they did. I remember seeingthat they are looking at it but I haven’t seen anything indicating what their analysis of it found.
Take a sheet, towel, turban, etc. Tack it to a wall and film in front of that. No geologist, or anybody else in the world for that matter, could ever possibly tell you where the film was made, unless of course, you did some monumentally stupid things with the camera.
