Congressman says groups are violating federal law
( WASHINGTON, D.C. ) Representative Tom Tancredo (R-Littleton) today sent a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers (D-Mich.), asking him to hold oversight hearings to examine the increasing problem of private groups working openly to help illegal aliens escape prosecution. According to recent news reports, many groups (such as the Alliance to Develop Power) routinely advise illegal aliens on how best to thwart immigration enforcement efforts.
Groups like this one are openly defying the law, and that is unacceptable Tancredo said. The administration is failing to enforce the law, and Congress needs to take action.
Tancredo cited Title 8, U.S. Code, Section 1324, which makes it illegal for any person to encourage or induce an alien to
reside in the United States, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such
residence is or will be in violation of law. Violations of the law are punishable by fines and prison time.
When they assumed control of Congress, the Democrat leadership told us this Congress would take oversight seriously, concluded Tancredo. I hope they are willing to keep that promise and put their money where their mouth is.

Good luck Tom. Democrats are not interested in protecting the country. They would rather dwell on Iraq or a sex scandal....

Get ‘em, Tom
Even if Tancredo doesn’t get the nod, or VP, he should be head of ICE.

He’s my guy as President, but I’d be okay with him heading ICE.

Go Tom. But, and this is a big but, we will never see the House Judiciary Committee do anything. The RATS depend heavily on the illegals support as voters (don’t tell me they don’t vote). America is rapidly going down the tubes.

The first one to be charged under this law should be jorge himself.

“Democrats are not interested in protecting the country.”
Barely half the Republicans are interested in protecting the country. Doesn’t leave us with much actual representation, does it? About half of a single political party and that half doesn’t include the leadership of it.
