(Columbia) -- A new poll shows Hillary Clinton and Fred Thompson are leading the presidential races in South Carolina.
The Los Angeles Times/Bloomberg Poll shows Clinton getting the support of 45 percent of those planning to vote in the Democratic presidential primary. The New York senator leads Illinois Senator Barack Obama, who has the backing of 27 percent.
Thompson has the backing of 26 percent of those who say they will vote in the Republican presidential primary. Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani is right behind the former Tennessee senator, with 23 percent.
Will the Norman Hsu mega scandal hurt Hitlery with the Dimocrat faithful in the primaries? Probably not. Sen. Ubama is also implicated in this scandal and I don’t see the Breck Girl moving beyond third place.
And Fred has hardly even started. Fred will crush the hildebeast!
He concise, folksy. She's a programmed wonk.
I would have thought ANYBODY against JFKerry would have been a landslide...but it was far too close for comfort.
Hillary’s not going to pull 50%. She’ll get 48-49% at most, same as her husband in his last campaign. same as kerry. They aren’t running that campaign expecting to get a majority vote. They are hoping to win the same way he did. A united Dem vote and divided Rep party.
The only way to win is to have a united GOP and take more Reagan Dems then they do. that’s a why a pick conservatives agree on is essential. Reagan, 41 and 43 only won with conservatives blessing. 41 lost the second round because they abandoned him, and Dole never had them.
Do you think Fred will keep all states that Bush won? Or some states will flip?
I thought South Carolina was OWNED by John McCain and His SC Sidekick, Lindsey Goober Graham.
