Admit that the Bush administration doesn’t want to end U.S. sovereignty - they are just foolish about illegal immigration.

One must take a very serious look at the flagrant lack of security on the southern border. Anyone with half a wit can see that enormous hole, and raghead 'insurgents' have already been found crossing there.

No, wait! Let's make it even worse! Let's allow foreign nationals to drive trucks with never-been-inspected loads right across the border and into any region of the country that they choose! Won't that be fun?

Do you have any idea how easy it is to forge the little wire seal they use to show that the the trailer doors have not been opened? Absolutely anything could be in those trucks.

This goes beyond mere foolishness. This administration cannot be so blind. There must be a purpose.

It boils down to the USA trying to coopt and embrace Mexico before China does. How realistic one believes that threat is determines how one reacts to Bush's actions.

I don’t understand why either.

However, I do remember he was his daddy’s hachet man. He could fire them really well.

I would absolutely object if we lost the right (and didn’t fulfill the obligation) to inspect cargo, no matter who is driving.

Do you happen to have a source I can look at on the no inspection thing?

So it is your assertion that the motivation for leaving our border unsecured and a real-time, proven threat in a time of war is just a good state department "politics for business" move?

I beg your pardon, sir, but that makes absolutely no sense at all.

No, but I do have my experience:

My company used to accept cartage from Mexico on a fairly regular basis. After taking several disastrous hits due to the Mexican supplier claiming that people outside his organization were tampering with the load, it became commonplace for the local supplier rep and myself (or my rep) to be present when the doors were opened as witnesses, each for the other.

An integral part of that meeting was to photograph the seal on the doors before opening them- A seal put in place by the Mexican manufacturer. I tell you this to help you understand how important that seal was to our normal business inspection.

Be it a container or a box trailer, I have never received a load where that seal was broken.

Let's see. Bush and RINOs want to create the North American Union.

The Marxist's Fag Socialist Dimocrats, whom the unions support, want to create the United Soviet Socialist States of Homosexual Loving - Abortion Approving Amerika.

So, which do we choose. Damned hard to make a decision.

Hoffa: Bush creating North American Union

Hmmm...a Hoffa that can NOT honestly say "I've never met a union that
I didn't like".

Clearly, the Federal Government doesn't see the open border as a security risk at this time. So the only conclusions are:

a) Al Qaeda is far weaker than we have been led to believe and no longer pose any real threat (the liberal argument.)

b) The Powers That Be are hoping for another attack so they can further expand government power through means like the Patriot Act (the moonbat argument.)

c) 9/11 was carried out on behalf of unnamed states (Pakistan/Iraq/China), which have been warned that thermonuclear retaliation will follow any additional action. China has neutered their Islamic radical hand puppets, a new detente has arisen, and the battle has shifted to the economic front - where the Powers That Be believe we need Mexico and its labor force in our camp at all costs to be victorious. China and Venezuela see Mexico as the next logical conquest (the argument conservatives don't want to accept).

Ignorance of border security isn't about GWB having a soft spot in his heart for for hardworking Mexican maids, yet that absurd argument gets made on FR all the time. Geopolitical chess is being played here, and the moves have thirty year time horizons.

Global chessboard aside, I do not believe Islamic radicals to be the hand-puppets of China. Islamic radicals are the hand puppets of Islam in exactly the same means and method that history presents- This is a Crusade in the formal sense, it's just that many don't seem to understand that yet. This war will come down to Allah vs. Jehovah just as it has in times past. Islam is hardly neutered. In fact, it is the only entity on earth that s independently conquering and possessing territory. It is the independent forefront and face of fascism.
