Tancredo Blasts Dem Plan to Attach Amnesty Riders to Defense Bill

Tancredo should be asked to intro a Constitutional Amendment to ban the problem of anchor babies. Such an amendment would sail through the Congress, and the states’ ratification process, like a nuclear-powered wave-rider.

Keep in mind that the 26th amendment-—to give 18-year olds the right to vote——passed in three months 10 days. That was way back in 1970 (and without the power of the i-net behind it). Let’s get it going now..........let ‘er roll.

If an OBL-type, RINO gets the GOP nomination, (and we already know the Dems, too, will be sellout on our national sovereignty) and we are faced with eight more years of Open Borders and Compassionate Conservatism, then I HIGHLY recommend Tancredo, or Hunter, if they truly care about this nation, to engineer a Conservative Third Party/Independent bid for the White House so we have a place to truly put our votes come November.

I hope it does not have to come to that, but being September now we should start thinking of this alternative scenario, Freepers.

I was gonna say “Bush would veto it” but after doing a little research, it seems the POTUS has no say in the matter of Constitutional Amendments.

You are right on, this is exactly what we should be pushing hard right now. I’m not entirely certain that we could get 2/3 of the senate though but our best best is to ratify right now during this coming election year when the politicians will be at their most receptive.
