If this law passed, do adults born here from non-citizen parents also lose citizenship?

I doubt it. That would violate the Consitution's ban on ex-post-facto law.

The Lautenberg Gun Ban (for those accused of domestic violence and violators of domestic restraining orders) has retroactive effect.

The largest tax increase in U.S. history, signed by Bill Clinton, was applied retroactively to a date 20 days before his inauguration.

This is KEY....aliens are not "subject to the jurisdiction, therof", but are subject to the jurisdiction of their home countries. The language has been twisted to include ANY foreigner who drops a baby here on U.S. soil, then the Liberals jump on the deportation of the illegals because "you're breaking up a family".

What a crock of steaming dung....

It would repeal a key part of the 14th Amendment, ratified in 1868, which confirmed that principle: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States." If these children were under U.S. jurisdiction, Vincente Fox wouldn't have spent the last decade championing their cause while they were on OUR soil.

The Sacramento Bee is once again championing foreign nationa's supposed rights over our own. I wouldn't subscribe to this rag if it extended my life five years.

"and subject to the jurisdiction thereof," meant something to the authors and ratifiers (such as they were) of the amendment.

Are children born to foreign ambassadors who are not subject to US jurisdiction automatically US citizens? I think not.

Are children born to illegal entrants ignoring US jurisdiction automatically citizens? No, by the same argument.
