One of the men accusing O.J. Simpson of robbing him last Thursday is in the hospital. A spokesperson for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles says Bruce Fromong is in the intensive care unit after suffering what's being described as a massive heart attack.
News 3's Jesse Corona spoke with Bruce Fromong's neighbors who say they can hardly believe everything that's been happening.
Before 53-year-old Bruce Fromong was an alleged victim in O.J. Simpson's personal sports memorabilia sting, he was an O.J. supporter. Fromong testified for Simpson's defense in the wrongful death case brought by Fred Goldman.
He also somehow came into possession of the suit that Simpson wore when he was acquitted of criminal charges in the infamous 1994 double murder........."

lol!!
Here’s why...
“Meanwhile, a suspect in the O.J. Simpson armed robbery case claimed the former football star might have been set up.
A new alleged audio recording of Simpson taken an hour before the heist was released.
The tape claims to have Simpson saying they will have a fake buyer go into the hotel room first, followed by O.J. — who would identify the memorabilia as his — and then call police.
But Thomas Reechio, who was at the meeting, told Good Morning America that it did not go according to plan.
“It was just a crazy scene, one of the guys took out a gun,” he described.
Recchio also said he believed Simpson was set up — because the person who tipped him off also recorded the entire thing.”

I am no fan of OJ’s, but this does not pass the sniff test. If the tape doesn’t fit....
“The stress could have been caused by lying as well.”
Yeah, that’s the ticket. The stress of lying, rather than the stress of having five guys burst into your room with some guns drawn. Not to mention the stress of the ensuing legal mess with Prince O.J. getting arrested.
That will also generate one humongous wrongful-death lawsuit. As it stands now, OJ can pay for this man’s hospital bills, at least!
Geez, everybody here acts like OJ killed somebody or something.
Nonsense!
I’ve wondered if they could. How could they prove that the double murderer’s actions caused this condition?
O.J. must be so surprised.
Unfortunately, there is better than a 50/50 chance he will enjoy jury nullification again.....
It only takes a couple of racist dumb asses on the jury...
That is PRECISELY what is wrong with our system of “Justice”...
Our founders wrongly assumed that only men of INTEGRITY would have the vote or the right to sit on Juries...
Yet - we keep defining “citizen” to ever descending levels...
Even the meanest, most ignorant, welfare dependent, gang banging miscreant is a “citizen”......
“OJ can pay for this mans hospital bills, at least!”
Oh, I get a big picture of that happening. ;)
I'm sorry, but I think the opposite irony would happen with such a flimsy charge. OJ would be let off -- AGAIN!
Whoa! That's a tough chain of causation to make there. You think they could prove that? You think they would try?

If this guy never had a history of any heart condition (known or otherwise), the matter of correlation would likely be easier for a doctor to state that the event caused it. If he had a heart condition, a doctor would likely be able to state that this trauma exacerbated a previous heart condition (known or otherwise).
What a wonderful world it would be if OJ was working on a health care plan and Hillary was headed to jail.
It depends on a lot more than that. Are you a criminal lawyer?
I wondered.
