No. But you do not want to find yourself in double legal jeopardy. One thing leads to another and before you know it, you're looking at more prison time. I hate to sound like Johnny Cochran here, "but if you don't want to do the time, don't do the crime." Too bad OJ couldn't stay out of trouble with the law.

They would have one hell of a time trying to make felony murder out of the death of this guy, and absence special evidence (e.g., that he started having trouble during the incident that continued to this heart attack) I doubt they’d even try.

This guy will have plenty of excellent doctors taking care of him at Cedar’s Sinai. I think that the prestige, caliber, and testimony of the prosecutor’s expert witnesses (in this case, most likely the doctors from a well-known medical facility—Cedar’s Sinai (ER doctors, ICU doctors, and primary doctor)), will also be persuasive to any jury.

So called??
Was he armed or not? If so, what possible reason can he put forth for being armed along with other thugs?
If there was no robbery or intent then he would not have been armed.
How many legitimate business deals do you go to armed?

Then it becomes felony murder. The death was caused by the crime. Its like OJ or his co conspirators pulled a trigger to a gun and killed him. How would they prove a connection between the robbery and the heart attack given that the heart attack happened several days after the robbery? Yes,if it happened during the robbery then it wouldn't be tough to prove. But days afterwards.....a defense medical examiner or cardiologist could say "given the data that I've seen this guy's heart was a ticking time bomb.I'm surprised that he didn't die ten years ago.Being startled by the ringing of a telephone could have been enough to kill him".

This case just keeps getting more intriguing by the day. What it really needs is a Kato Katlin character.

Stress does not cause or contribute to a heart attack. A heart attack is caused by a blood clot or underlying clogged arteries from years of dietary abuse (high cholesterol). Been there done that - was going thru a divirce when I had mine. As much as I would like to blame my ex for causing it, she had nothing to do with it!

I really dont care what occurred....even if it was a set-up, if it sends OJ to prison, fine by me. What if he didn't do anything wrong, still fine by you?

A heart attack is caused by a blood clot or underlying clogged arteries Those may be necessary conditions (generally), but stress is capable of causing or exacerbating just about any imaginable medical problem, even in animals. In other words, an individual under normal levels of stress may not experience a cardiac event unless he he the foregoing conditions you mentioned, but under high levels of stress, a physically normal individual may be struck down. Another way to look at it is that under enough stress, EVERY PERSON would die, although the actual organs affected would vary from case to case.
Most people have heard stories of a spouse who will die a short time after the partner passes away. This is not uncommon. Stress can do anything the most terrible cancer or heart disease can do.
