OK, that's even better than that image going around now.
If freepers want a table, you'd better move NOW. If the tables are gone, ask to be immediately put on a waiting list for cancellations. If the venue is vast, you may have a chance.
Even if freepers can't sit together, you can hook up at the bar or afterwards. Sometimes it's advantageous to be split up. At the Fred doing I attended last week, I was able to get a cancellation ticket a mere 20 hours before the event. I sat at a table of friendly GOP strangers including a state rep.....and after I was done with them, two are going to sign up on this forum, LOL.

It is fair use, not a violation of copyright to copy a sentence:
“The Iowa Republican Party announced today that presidential candidates Duncan Hunter and Fred Thompson are scheduled to headline the annual Ronald Reagan Dinner on October 27.”
I’m gonna have to see if I can’t make it down there somwhow! Two of my favorites in the same room!!
$100 sounds like a lot o’moolah for this cash-strapped professor.
Well Pissant, we know at least one of the two was a Reagan support in 1976 an 1980. Not sure who Fred was helping during the primaries; he never has said.
Considering his mentor Howard Baker ran both Ford’s and GHWB’s campaigns, I could easily guess.
Hunter’s 59.
Fred’s 65.
That is more of an age difference than I thought. Never mind!
Precisely. He picked the wrong mentor.

“he doesnt appear to be gaining momentum”
I beg to differ. Hunter is gaining momentum and his support is growing every day. Remember, a lot of voters aren’t even thinking about who to vote for yet. Things are ramping up in the Hunter campaign and the organizational aspect is gaining momentum too.
Name recognition will not be a factor in the near future.
I like the idea of these two together at this dinner though. It will be nice for Iowa voters to take a close and personal look at the two candidates. I hope that they are the only ones to headline that dinner. I’m sure Iowans will appreciate it too.
