Support the Troops Victory Tour 2007

September 12, 2007.

The Victory Tour caravan made a stop in Columbus on Wednesday night. I was at the Quaker Steak & Lube to cover the event (be sure to catch the "Infidel" in the sights & sounds video) and spoke with Lt. Col. (USAF-Ret.) Buzz Patterson, Gold Star mom Debbie Lee, and Marine/Blue Star mom Deborah Johns.

What a truly dedicated and inspiring group of Patriots.

First I'd like you to hear from Gold Star mom Debbie Lee. She lost her son in Iraq and has become his voice letting the American people know about his love for his country and the mission he believed in. It makes you ask yourself why the likes of Cyndi Sheehan gets all the press coverage when there are moms who are truly representing their sons and get very little voice in the main stream media.

I have to tell you I cried when Debbie spoke about her son, Marc Alan Lee. We hugged for a long time. Her courage and commitment to victory and her son's love and belief in his country will inspire me forever. I hope it inspires you. Here's Debbie.

That made me feel great. Wow, between the newscast that night on ABC and FOX plus these videos, Columbus is now moving up my “favorites” list for cities that we stopped in!

I am hoping that the NEXT TIME actually can be BEFORE 08’!

The only thing missing from ANY of the stops that the Caravan had made was for CONSERVATIVES There (Or FR’s, PW’s, Eagles, VEts-ANYONE knowledgable/on top of the News and Schedule of such caravans) to go RALLY the LOCAL VFW’s, Conservative Groups, etc. to Plan to Get Out There to Line Their streets to show their support! (Or just plain Conservatives/Freepers; to take it upon themselves to work towards this end.

The EAGLES next time need a larger number of various
“Co-Ordinators” with responsibilities such as this; go find out what Groups are along the route-give them way advance notice so they can get their LOCAL NEWS STATIONS, Papers, College and local clubs to LINE THE STREETS for Support when the Caravan comes by.

Would have, should have, could have.

p.s. “...Anti-war protestors should try holding rallies in Damascus and Tehran!....” Hey Im98!- THIS would never work in the “Real World”! Those Caught marching AGAINST their OWN Gov’t like Damascus?Tehran? wou;d be (HAVE BEEN!) purposely tracked down and “wished into the corn field”!-PLUS—You speak of the “Anti-War Protestors”??-You mean like the EQUAL of Ours??-Couldn’t work either- since OUR Anti-American Protestors are 85% Teens 17 years and younger-in nations like Iran/Damascus etc. They’d all be in FORCED Gov’t Army Training and getting their Propaganda training-so they quite naturally would NOT have the “Free Time” that American Teens have to protest! Let ALONE Their Professors Permission to do so! Hahahaha
