I agree with what you said, and also this, look what happened to the Congress and Senate when they took their balls and went home.....total breakdown in both houses....
If we have to put up with Klintons again, this could be the end of the United States of America....All states for themselves....
The Country of Pennsylvania; the Country of Rhode Island, etc......
Let her have Washington D.C. and we will elect our own Government....
I don't know that I'd use the word "onerous" but there is nothing substantive to recommend Fred. The bandwagoneering is obnoxious. I don't trust the people around him.
I've been keeping a list on my FR homepage and it needs updating.
Dick Morris, nor anyone else, need slam Fred Thompson. Fred can do more damage all by himself. The same is true of the other candidates, but Fred seems particulary good at making comical gaffes. He is not sharp. His supporters are the best, however. If they can come up with some good solid policy positions and then actually carry them out while Fred acts as a figurehead, we might be okay with a Thompson presidency.
