Under no circumstances will I watch anything from a Damn Leftie like Ken Burns.

Can you point out the leftist slant in The Civil War, Baseball, and Jazz? I must have missed it somewhere along the way.

To be honest with you Non, I found the similiarites between how McCleenan ran for the presidential election in 64 very similiar with how I suspect the Dem will run in 08.

As I recall McCleenan ran as a Democrat against Lincoln and hinted that if he won the election he would make peace with the South.

Not surprising he won in NJ, heck they made him their governor.

It’s there, just look harder. For instance in his series on Jazz, except for his piece on Benny Goodman, no other white Jazz artists were profiled and he gave way too much leeway to the no talent Marsalis Brothers. This by the way comes from a number of Jazz and Big Band players who did watch that piece.
I will stand by my remarks. I don’t like Burns or his slant on history.

War and Remembrance: Ken Burns's in-your-face documentary on World War II revisits the battlefield and home front of yesteryear. But for viewers, the subtext will inevitably be today—and Iraq.

In the Baseball series, Ken Burns did include segments which involved former members of LBJ’s administration, but it’s still a decent series overall.
