Duncan Hunter is a fine man, and I’m proud that he’s a representative from California (and very unlike the other disgusting representatives from California). I’m for Fred, but I certainly appreciate Hunter’s stance on lots of issues. His opening statement during the Petraeus/Crocker hearing before the House changed the tone of that hearing from the bile of Lantos’ vicious attack to one of respect and civility (except for that raving nutter Wexler), and I applaud him for it. I just don’t think he’s ready this time around.

Him on the ticket will be a draw to some blacksAfter Cain's senate run, I've come to the conclusion that a Black republican candidate won't draw new Black votes. That being said, Watts would make a good choice for Veep.

"I wouldn't mind a little controversy at the United Nations."
That statement strenghtens my support for Thompson.

..but Duncan Hunter said it first. ...and, as we all know, only one Republican can express any given opinion.

According to UN Headquarters Agreement of 1947, the US "shall not impose any impediments to transit," obligating the US to allow representatives of UN members, or those invited on "official business," to visit the UN. However, the government may bar entry based on national security grounds, but would have to provide specific allegations for banning Ahmadinejad.

Yep that Duncan fellar tries to get out in front of the train much like Keyes, Buchanan, Klayman, etc. The real point is not that he said it first but rather did anyone other than a few supporters hear him?
Personally I think that having that Iranian here gives the country or at least those that were attuned to the event a chance to see first hand what we are dealing with around the globe. Sometimes getting hit in the head with something is better than just reading about it in the media with their spin included. jmo.

Fred Thompson and Michael Steele ‘08 Now there is a ticket I could get behind.

Im for Fred, but I certainly appreciate Hunters stance on lots of issues. Yes, Hunter is a fine man, so are Romney and Thompson. However, if their supporters are trying to woo people like me who have not made up our minds over to their candidate, they are doing their candidate a huge disservice with their childish and confrontational attitudes.
except for that raving nutter Wexler
Watch it with those raving nutter comparisons, LOL!

Sheeesh..did I strike a nerve, or what?
All I said was a name and 3 words...
..and for that I get 13 replies of sarcasm and insults.
Thompson seems like a nice guy...he may very well get the nomination...
..He's not my first choice, so what?
Yet y'all have a need to insult my choice.
....shheeesh!
There was one nice, decent reply out of the whole bunch!

My favorite version of that is, “If a man speaks in the woods and there’s no woman there to hear him, is he still wrong?”
