Huckabee is slick and a panderer
I just lost a lot of respect for Huckabee and his assertion that the unemployment rate for black high school droputs compared to white high school dropout rates on racism. No mention of the quality of inner city schools, black crime, the disintegration of the black family, and single parents.
Tancredo is doing a good job on the question.
Yes, he did.
He did do a good job.
Go Hunter! Woot!
Hosting a GOP debate in the middle of deep blue Baltimore? That’s odd.
I presume that the D-Day Times reproduction is the actual paper, except for the Ron Paul story of course (great graphics by the way). I like the map of France in the paper, with its invasion points marked. If you notice they indicated Normandy, Brittany, and the pas de Calais! It looks like erroneous NY Times stories are nothing new.
Keyes nails it.
Heeeeeeeeeeeey, news flash. The guys debating tonight are probably BETTER then the so called front runners, but you let the RNC do your thinking for you !!!
Now the panel of the three journalists:
Employment disparity Q
Paul: cites Walter Williams. No payroll taxes for those starting (waiter, etc)
Brownback: still don’t have colorblind society. stimulate the growth, tax policy like flat tax.
Tancredo: cannot agree with these race-baiting comments. Families were intact pre-60s. Devastated by welfare state, pay people to not be in the home; importation of low-income workers. Nothing to do with race.
Hunter: Republicans got Clinton to sign welfare reform (on third try). Incomes went up. Breaking the cycle of welfare. Jobs - help small businessman.
Keyes: Impact of govt programs on family structure in black community. Driven father from home. Non-productive, violent, promiscuity. Marriage partnership is important foundation.
Smacked it out of the park!
Laid it all at the feet of the breakdown of the black family and the Gov policies that hasten that.
Watch. It plays well to us, but not to the black community. It just confirms their biases.
I find the idea of this debate offensive. It puts a political party on “trial”.
Sort of the opposite of the gay-only Democrat debate.
These demographics are not “diverse”. They are facets of political correctness.
It’d be better to get an audience of engineering graduates in a room; people of all different origins with some common educational and work experiences. Or choose some other characteristic.
bttt
For awhile in recent years, PBS in Houston was airing thong/booty shaking rap videos on Saturday nights.
There is a culture war. Some people are pushing this as a positive characteristic. Some people even at PBS.
I have heard that Willams was on a short list for consideration as Paul's VP. Don't worry...won't happen.
Do they blend in with the audience, or stand out.
Go Keyes.
I cant imagine Mr Williams accepting
