Dont tick off Bill Donohue, President of the Catholic League. While some critics thought this brew-ha-ha with the League and Miller Brewing might have gone flat by now, Donohue has accelerated his cause by sending overnight packages to all eleven members of the companys Executive Committee a sample of the kinds of sick behaviors (click here) S&M Miller is sponsoring.
The information inside the packets reads:

Just the thought of all Irish Catholics shunning Miller brands would bring cold sweats to any brewer.
How much beer do they think the leather and whip crowd drink? Appletinni’s all around boys!

If S&M Miller doesnt pull its sponsorship, we will announce a game plan on Monday that will make the company regret it ever decided to insult Christians. Here's to hoping that this is not just bluster.

Miller Beer: bad call. That said, I thought the homo crowd liked white wine.

I see Nancy Pelosi is refusing to condemn the ad. And on a related note...

Miller already violated man law by fruiting the beer.

Religion of Peace Ping Donohue isn't advocating violence or anything close, so that is not a fair comparison at all. Christians, and Moslems, or any group, have a right to boycott or peaceful protest if they believe they are being insulted. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Does the Left think it is really cool to revoltingly mock Christianity and privately applaud as Jews are killed in the holy land? Well, let's see how the Left reacts to this?
Ari Shaffier visits a Mosque.
Let the Left watch this and his other videos and we'll see how consistent their sense of humor and free speech principles go.

I’m in Wisconsin and our baseball stadium is named Miller Park. It is now becoming an embarrassment. On our local talk shows it sounds like a boycott is on its way. No one called in to defend Miller. Also the host called our local Miller office for comment and didn’t get a return call. No comment. Cowards.

I didn't say that he did. I tried to point out that his approach was perhaps a tad shrill and ironic.

From this link....
Homosexuals Mock Last Supper With Sex-Toys
...Donohue says his group is targeting Miller because its the only national household sponsor. Furthermore, Miller has a record of acceding to requests from various segments of the population that have objected to certain ads: it has bowed to the wishes of Muslims, African-American clergy, lawyers and feminists by pulling ads deemed offensive, he said. Surely it will do the same in this instance: the ad, like the event, is morally depraved. Indeed, it is the kind of ad that only the enemies of Christians would entertain.
Donohue said, We have contacted Miller Brewing and expect that they will cooperate and do what is ethically right.
FWIW, that sounds neither shrill nor ironic to me.

I didn't say that he did. I tried to point out that his approach was perhaps a tad shrill and ironic. You compared his response to the response of muslims when they feel insulted. We have seen that response and it has been very violent and wildly irrational. If you had intended to show that Donohue's actions are simply "shrill and ironic" the muslim comparison was a poor choice for that.
As for it being shrill, well that is your opinion. I think Donohue is boldly and defiantly defending Christianity against the shrill anti-Christian hatred of that idiotic ad. I hope he is able to hammer Miller good and I applaud him for his agressive and persistent response.
