“Limbaugh works for himself. Clear Channel can’t afford to lose him, he probably owns half of it.”

Good point.

The problem trying to reason with her about politics is that she concedes with absolute candor that liberals lie and that the end does justify their means.

I've encountered this before myself by a former workmate.

After he admitted that the end justifies the means I said that it therefore must be alright for the right to do the same. No surpise he argued that the left could do it because they were right on the issues. Needless to say I rteplied that it depends on who is defining the right or wrong way on any given issue. Before they could reply I quickly added that if you find it alright to outright lie to further an agenda then the liar(s) could not be trusted to say the truth anytime. I repeated that ad nauseum until they cut the conversation short.

Bill invites Rush to appear tomorrow night...should be good.

O'Reilly could have the Hooters' bikini contest winner on his show and I wouldn't watch. Or, at least I'd turn the sound off.

The Democratic leader voiced his strong support for the First Amendment but said in this case Limbaugh went “way over the line.”

No senator, it is you and your colleagues that are going over the line....

Bill of Attainder

Definition: A legislative act that singles out an individual or group for punishment without a trial.

The Constitution of the United States, Article I, Section 9, paragraph 3 provides that: "No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law will be passed."

"The Bill of Attainder Clause was intended not as a narrow, technical (and therefore soon to be outmoded) prohibition, but rather as an implementation of the separation of powers, a general safeguard against legislative exercise of the judicial function or more simply - trial by legislature." U.S. v. Brown, 381 U.S. 437, 440 (1965).

"These clauses of the Constitution are not of the broad, general nature of the Due Process Clause, but refer to rather precise legal terms which had a meaning under English law at the time the Constitution was adopted. A bill of attainder was a legislative act that singled out one or more persons and imposed punishment on them, without benefit of trial. Such actions were regarded as odious by the framers of the Constitution because it was the traditional role of a court, judging an individual case, to impose punishment." William H. Rehnquist, The Supreme Court, page 166.

"Bills of attainder, ex post facto laws, and laws impairing the obligations of contracts, are contrary to the first principles of the social compact, and to every principle of sound legislation. ... The sober people of America are weary of the fluctuating policy which has directed the public councils. They have seen with regret and indignation that sudden changes and legislative interferences, in cases affecting personal rights, become jobs in the hands of enterprising and influential speculators, and snares to the more-industrious and less-informed part of the community." James Madison, Federalist Number 44, 1788.

Who’s running the country while these nitwits listen to Rush?

Hehe, maybe they're Rush 24/7 subscribers and listen to him behind closed doors in a smoke-filled room with the curtains drawn at 111:00 at night when they hope everyone else is asleep...

Was he referring to soldiers calling in or people portraying themselves as soldiers calling in?

The Ends always justify the Means for Commies. They still think that the Purges of Russia, China and Cambodia were justified to make their communist utopia. They would do the same thing to us if they had the opportunity.

The integrity of the Democrat party came to an end in 1992, and it’s been downhill ever since not having sex with that woman.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

The integrity of the Democrat party came to an end in 1964, and it’s been downhill ever since having sex with Marilyn and known spies and mobster’s girlfriends was kept quiet by the MSM..
