Congressional Democrats are trying to divert attention from insulting our military leader in Iraq and pandering to the loony left by attacking Rush Limbaugh. He is one of the strongest supporters of our troops, yet Democrats claim he is not being strong enough. I wonder who General Petraeus and his troops think is most supportive?

Rush mentioned this on his show and said it was “A rare act of courage” for Fred to speak up for him. Woohoo, Fred! You da man! :-)

As long as this story stays in the forefront, Rush's ratings and listener-ship goes up, Reid and his cronies lose more credibility, and the Dim candidates are caught between supporting Dingy or Rush.

One of Rush Limbaughs strongest points is his support for the troops. Attacking him on that basis is stupid beyond belief.

I listen to Rush pretty much every day and every time the troops come up he always mentions in what high respect he holds them.

This entire thing is made up and a disgrace to every single person who buys into it.

Wa-a-ay past time for a major Republican candidate to speak in Rush’s defence. I’ll give Thompson props for doing so, but it should have been said earlier.

What room do the Democrats have to talk about how strong someone's support is for the troops? THEIR support for the troops is nil, and this Limbaugh-bashing fiasco is a way to divert public attention away from their own bashing of General Petraeus.
