Hillary: I Started Media Matters

I want to talk about an online slime machine known as Media Matters for America. It is a tax-exempt organization which states its purpose as countering conservatives in the media.
I have said before that Media Matters was started with help from Hillary Clinton and took George Soros' money. Media Matters has written to me and all my bosses saying my charge is a lie, that it is an independent organization which plays no political favorites and has never received slime machine cash from Soros-funded Democracy Alliance.
Here are the facts: Media Matters was started in offices provided by the Center for American Progress, a Soros-funded operation. It has since received Soros money. Facts, not lies.
It has also now come to light that not only did Hillary Clinton help start Media Matters with former conservative David Brock in charge, she bragged about it to a convention of the far left. At the Daily Kos convention — a gathering of the far, far left — Hillary Clinton said the following:
"We are certainly better prepared and more focused on, you know, taking our arguments, and making them effective, and disseminating them widely... in a lot of the new progressive infrastructure, institutions that I helped to start and support like Media Matters and Center for American Progress."
She went on to explain that when she famously claimed there was a "vast right-wing conspiracy," she didn't realize it wasn't a conspiracy but just people on the Internet making political arguments out in the open. And she decided she could do the same thing.

Isn’t Hillary’s involvement in these organizations a violation of the McCain/Fiengold law that is what is keeping Newt from running? And if so can’t someone try to imprison her for breaking the law?
Next onslaught from Media Matters: An all-out attack on FOX for the headline announcing that Hillary! “co-founded” Media Matters when her words were that she “helped start” it. How dare FOX take what she said and twist it to mean co-founded!!
Media Matters is right up there with the ACLU in my book.

Norman Hsu, Media Matters, attacks on Patriotism, what oh what has miss hillary been up to? Told you she has to change the subject from her positions on Iraq (multiple: read JohnKerry), we are winning the war and she has the nomination sewn up. Thus healthcare, $5k baby bonuses (note, you can only use the money for specified purposes - some gift), and now Rush hates the soldiers tour brought to you by her own “step and fetch” Uncle Harry. God, between George Soros and the Clintons the Dem party is completely bought and paid for. Can’t let the unwashed see who calls the shots in the party, thus the attacks on all media that investigate the Not So Vast Left Wing Conspiracy. The only Dem to stand up to it was Lieberman. Says alot about the integrity of the party - don’t it.
Laws don’t apply to the Clintoons. Or to leftists generally.
Hillary is so obig headed she thinks laws do not apply to her.
For once, I would like to see someone with a spine stand up and make her take responsibilty for what she has done.

IRS willing to look into Media Matter’s possible violation of it’s 501(c)(3) Status
Fox just did a great expose on Media Matters and Hillary!
I doubt it. Newt's group is a 527, a type of political organization of recent vintage (thanks McCain). Media Matters actually has 501(c)(3) status like a regular charity or educational organization.
IIRC, Newt said that the law causing the conflict with running pertains to the 527 groups. It is hard to imagine that it applies to (c)(3) groups as well. Nader has run for president and some of his groups are obviously (c)(3).
This is probably beside the point. As far as we know Hillary has no current official role with Media Matters--is that right?

Sadly, the dumbed down masses will never realize this. They believe that Rush Limbaugh thinks that real military people (as opposed to fraudsters) are phony soldiers, that there should be “free medical care” and that there were no WMDs in Iraq. They also believe that the biggest enemies of the US are wealthy white men. Good luck to us all in 2008, and all that, but I have a very dark view of what will be happening after Jan 20, 2009.
