What happens if you have a plate in your head? I have 4 of them since june and lotsa screws...havn’t had to walk through a metal detector yet though.

Can Test: lift bre*st, put soup can under bre*st, let go of bre*st. If the soup can remains in place, you’ve passed the ‘Can Test’ and are *not* a member of the itty bitty committee. ;o)

A friend of mine who wrecked her foot in a car accident has to take an x-ray with her to the airport, showing where the titanium screws are.
Take your head off and run it through the X-ray machine, or some goon impersonating a security guard will take it off for you.

My daughter has two stainless steel bars in her back, but when the surgeon put them in he removed several ribs, ground them up and covered the bars. Although it hasn’t yet been tested, he seemed to think that she wouldn’t set off a metal detector. After hearing this, I’m not so sure.
