This isn't surprising. The Israelis don't have anything to prove, they know how effective they are, and the Syrians are embarrassed.
The interviewee on Coast this weekend said we were a hairsbreadth from nuclear war on 5 Sept. Of course, being on Coast along with UFOs and Bigfoot puts one into a speculative category so not much attention was given to the statement except poo-pooing and denial.
Israel Ping.
With prior approval from Washington, Israeli F151 jets were scrambled and, minutes later, the installation and its newly arrived contents were destroyed.
So secret were the operational details of the mission that even the pilots who were assigned to provide air cover for the strike jets had not been briefed on it until they were airborne. In the event, they were not needed: built-in stealth technology and electronic warfare systems were sophisticated enough to blind Syrias Russian-made anti-aircraft systems.
F-15I's don't HAVE stealth capability. Which, if it really was an F-15I strike, is really bad news for anyone stupid enough to buy an SA-23 system from the Russians.
This guy seems to be hinting, without saying it, that it was an actual atomic bomb. If not that, at least components for a bomb and/or weapons grade plutonium/uranium. What else could start WWIII? Methinks a dirty bomb would not be enough.
I wonder if the RATS know about this, and if they are ignoring the dangers we face while they continue to obstruct our defense. If so, that is genuine treason, not just rhetorical treason as they usually commit.
Ever read Alas Babylon? Remember how the nuclear war started? Randy knew that when the Russians went silent, something bad was about to happen.
Hmmmm...the only way that could be true is if the North Korean shipment contained finished warheads, ready to go that very day onto Syrian missiles targeted at Israel. Dirty bomb material would not have been sufficient - and basic nuclear material would have taken time to prepare. Sounds like Israel destroyed the NK warheads in one place before they could be distributed to Syrian missile launch sites and mounted on delivery systems...but even had they not done that, "WWIII" would not have happened that very day.
The interesting question is: what did China know about this and did they tacitly approve of the North Korean shipment as a way of sticking a finger in the West's eye?
Has any third party detected any release of radioactivity in the last month?
I find it hard to believe that any bombing of such material would NOT result in some kind of release. Unless of course it’s solidly buried now.
I know exactly what happened. The North Koreans waited until the check cleared (using that slow boat) and then offered to sell the info to the Israelis.
Ping!
No wonder the Russians are so freaked out about our Missile Defense Shield. Their systems can't even help defend against winged aircraft.
Other articles have said that the Iranian High Command is in a panic, waiting for a U.S. attack, and that the Expensive Russian Anti-Aircraft equipment is now useless...
It also explains the sudden Iranian drive to push thier nukes DEEP underground...
“Aviation Week reckons the success of the attack might be down to use of the “Suter” airborne network attack system. The technology, was developed by BAE Systems and integrated into US unmanned aircraft by L-3 Communications, according to unnamed US aerospace industry and retired military officials questioned by Aviation Week.
Instead of jamming radar signals, Suter uses a more sophisticated approach of “hacking” into enemy defences.
“The technology allows users to invade communications networks, see what enemy sensors see, and even take over as systems administrator so sensors can be manipulated into positions so that approaching aircraft can’t be seen,” Aviation Week explains. “The process involves locating enemy emitters with great precision and then directing data streams into them that can include false targets and misleading message algorithms.”
But not No. Korea. In fact, their lone, harsh criticism of Israel about an incident that should be none of their business directed a bright, nuclear light on the entire affair.
So, have we put the foot to North Korea for their part in this? Is that why they (appear) to be disarming?
Not a peep from the administration (as it should be)convinces me more and more that we dodged a big one with Israel’s help.

Ah, so this was a U.S. planned and sanctioned operation.
What if we had just called the North Koreans bluff and bombed their nuke facilities when they did their little "test" in July. We were lucky enough they didn't "test" it in the US or South Korea, so actions have consequences. We should have just blasted it to hell. If they didn't like that, then blast everything else. They knew we wouldn't do anything but hand wring for weeks afterward. They should have been shown that they "miscalculated".
Why haven't there been repercussions beyond some low key rhetoric ?
