Rush Limbaugh performed an enormously important public service by creating a controversy over the left’s phony soldiers. He provided the second data point we needed to identify the new subspecies of Democrat that wants to take the White House in 2008: they are the MoveOn.Democrats.
The first data point was gleaned from the enormous public reaction to the infamous MoveOn.org New York Times ad that labeled Gen. David Petraeus a lair and traitor to his country. The MoveOn ad generated so much backlash even they were taken aback, asking their supporters in an e-mail whether they were on the “same page.” (Hillary is clearly on the same page, telling Petraeus that his report required a willing suspension of disbelief. In properly parsed Lawyer Clinton language, that’s the precise equivalent of calling him a liar.
Republican outrage was expressed in Sen. John Cornyn’s (R-Tx) “sense of the Senate” resolution he offered as an amendment to the Defense Authorization bill in September. Cornyn said, “This amendment was an opportunity for every senator to declare with not only their voices but also with their votes that they fully support our troops and our commanding general in Iraq.” The amendment passed by a vote of 72-25-3.
The 25 were the first to claim the title of MoveOn.Dems. They were so scared of what the MoveOners would do to them -- including cutting off their access to its political funds -- that they stood with MoveOn and against General Petraeus.
To the 25 we add Sen. Barack Obama (D-Il). Obama was present and voting that day (he voted for a Democratic substitute to the Cornyn amendment which made it meaningless by taking out General Petraeus’ name in favor of language dedicated to all soldiers.)

Don’t worry....with the help of loons at far left radical web sites like CrapOn.org, the Democrats will sink themselves.
If I were Rush I’d make the Democrats pay dearly for their slander. I’d gather ever anti-war clip from Kennedy, Durbin, and the Move on dot orgs heroes and play them every day juxtaposed against bit and pieces of the President, Republicans, and Rush praising the troops. Let America see the contrast. It is not very hard to see. If I had the reigns every American would know the party of traitors for what it is.
They are not concerned about the troops they have been concerned since 9-11 that they continue to gain in power no matter what or who has to be drug down and stomped on be it our Country, our soldiers, our decency, our love of God there is no limit to their poison. They offer no understanding for our troops while asking us to understand what drives suicide bombers but scream about every indiscretion and mistake committed in the fog of war as if our troops are murdering little children in the dark for fun.
I watched a horrible piece on Fox News last night on Hannity and Combs and Sean bless his soul fought valiantly but sometimes the allies he chooses are lacking not in spirit but in delivery. Geraldo virtually had to be talked over in his typical liberal fashion trying to equate Rush with Moveon.org. There is no equating it. Like when Ann Coulter and Ted Nugent go off. Liberals are wrong in almost every respect. They lie on Global Warming, they have lied from the beginning on Iraq, they lied about Vietnam, they lie about Abortion, they lie about deviant rights, they lie about Church and state, lie about the Health Care.
A righteous man who speaks for a raped woman is not equivalent to a venomous lawyer who defends the rapist. The dictator who brutalizes his citizen prisoners is not equivalent to a freely elected on who does not. The first step of the left in neutering the right is to have us accept stupid generalist ideas of how both Moveon.org and Rush Limbaugh are equivalent. He is not. A person who says the truth with fire is not the same as one speaks a lie with no shame.
