Great news! I'm a former DA, and I concluded this was self-defense as well. If anything, the dryhumper should be charged with battery. Nice to see the boys in LaLaLand agree.

The only reasonable outcome.
Actually when a man leaps on someone and starts dry humping assault charges are still appropriate if the humpee wishes to pursue them.

I don’t know anything about this Fairplay guy but I assumed he was drunk or on drugs.

Danny should be given some kind of special award for face planting that jackhole!

Fairplay "initiated contact and acted offensively.""Offensive" doesn't even begin to describe his behavior.

Dang. Don’t mess with Danny!

Danny was well within his rights, in my view.

Actually, if you watch the video, I’d say it’s more likely that Danny was on the drugs and/or alcohol. That doesn’t change the fact that he was right though. :)

"Fairplay, a former wrestler whose real name is Jon Dalton"
Some wrestler. Bonaduce tossed this guy like a roll of toiler paper. When I saw it I couldn't figure out what Danny was supposed to have done wrong - They guy ran and jumped on him holding him in a bear hug. Danny just heaved the guy right over his head. The way O'Reilly was critizing Danny I was thinking the acts of the other guy must have been a planned part of the show and Danny did an improv move using too much muscle. If the guy jumping on Danny wasn't part of the act then Danny did not act out of line.

It won’t stop a civil lawsuit, though;)

Just typical O’reilly, wrong as usual.

"Did he really? Bills a little off sometimes."
Yeah, Bill said it looks like Danny still hasn't worked through his personal problems and he still needs help. The implication I got was he was saying Danny has drug/alcohol issues.

BOR commented on this? Maybe he should take a vacation and let Michelle and Laura fill in for him.

It would be a silly suit to bring. Mr. Toothless initiated the contact. All Bonaduce did was throw the guy off of him. It was defensive. Bonaduce should counter-sue for battery, which he would win. Also mitigating the dryhumper's claim would be the fact that he was a former wrestler. He should know how to take a fall.
The only rational explanation for the humper to bring suit would be the desire for publicity. He won't get any money, that's for sure.

Nice job Danny!
