Why did Mark Foley get run out of office for sending sexually explicit emails and IMs to a male page when Gerry Studds (D) was reelected to congress SIX TIMES after admitting to having had anal sex with a 17-year-old male page?

There's an obvious double-standard that's perpetuated by the complicit liberal media and it makes me want to vomit also.

Frank was censured by congress. Craig was not.

"I guesyou would have to include a whole bunch of Catholics and their church(a majority of them are Democrats) You should be disgusted with them as well, to follow your logic! Yes. That would follow. But that would be no fun. When chamber of commerce republicans attack Christians, they have the thrill of knowing that they are driving half of their political coalition away. So they will get to be moderate losers.

Craig is a selfish jerk for not resigning ASAP. He’s hurting his party, and any Republican/conservative causes he may once have supported.

I hate to ask, for so many reasons, but what was the sandwich with Kennedy?

It was actually just drunken boorishness. Years ago, Kennedy & Chris Dodd cornered a waitress in a restaurant and forcibly pinned her between themselves - aka the "sandwich" - with obvious sexual connotations.

I've no love lost for either of those two wastes of flesh, but that's not really a valid counterpoint to the level of misbehavior we're talking about here.

News flash: if you're "half" of our political coalition, we are the other "half." That's sort of a mathematical necessity. And I'm sure Giuliani supporters feel real welcome in your fold right now. But no, in your eyes, the only ones being "attacked" are you self-proclaimed martyrs in the Evangelical movement.

I'm telling you: you guys can write me off as a "troll" all you wish. You can believe me when I say I would have no problem voting, in a general election, for Brownback, Huckabee, Hunter, or Tancredo, or whomever, or not. In a perfect world, my choice would be Hunter. But I possess something you apparently don't: a survival instinct, so I'm not supporting sure fire losers in a primary.

You are sewing the seeds of your own demise in whining about double standards with these lurid stories instead of forcefully comdemning the people involved and insisting on a house cleaning.

They shouldn't. At this point, I could vote for any of the Republicans on the ballot EXCEPT Rudy. I

don't have a religious test - I consider both Mitt and Fred to be members of cults, but I'm supporting Fred in the primaries at this point, and would be willing to support Mitt if he turns out to be the nominee.

I'm not a single issue guy, either. I don't like CFR, but I'll tap McCain if he's on the ballot next November. Huckabee made a fool of himself on the outside smoking ban, so I don't back him in the primary, even though he is one of the strongest supporters of Christian views.

So perhaps it is you gun grabbing pro-abortionists that are narrow minded.

Everyone has demons and human weaknesses but this is clearly above average deviance for ANY group, much less one who spouts Christian morals.

Christianity is most popular among people who desperately need it. It's like an addict needing a fix. People who aren't drug addicts don't have a longing for drugs-- they can see some coke on a table and just keep on walking by.

Won’t happen. I went into Barney Frank’s office 17 years ago and demanded his resignation after it came out his companion was running a male prostitution ring out of their home. Even led a massive rally on the U.S. Capitol steps, Supreme Court and DNC calling for him to step down.

We’re still waiting.

Uhh, I'm pro-life and pro-gun. That might screw up your narrative, but sorry. Facts are a b**tch.

OK, I'll revise my comment.

So perhaps it is those of you who support gun grabbing pro-abortionists baby killers that are narrow minded.

That better?
