She's pandering to her Jewish supporters the same was GWB pandered to his Evangelical supporters in 2000 and 2004 over moving the Embassy to Jerusalem. Same coin, different sides.

The ridiculous brouhaha over her Suha Arafat kiss (a brouhaha only among the Jewish right) has produced a hawkish course correction. M.J. Rosenberg is a moron. After all, only the Jewish right gets upset about coddling terrorists and someone who just gave a speech that amounted to a blood libel against the Jews. /s off
To: SJackson
Not the Jewish community at large, which overwhelmingly supports the two-state solution and Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank.

a state for Hamas terrorists?
I guess he polled Jews who want to commit suicide and I don’t mean those at Masada.

Has Hillary picked out her new Jews to pardon during this election?

In her new position paper on Israel, Hillary Rodham Clinton comes not only to praise the Jewish state but to bury doubts that she would be any less vigilant in its protection than the Bush administration.
This says to me that she will drop Israel like a hot potato in her swift attempts to appease the Islamofascists.

are we really that superficial that we would believe what this woman says? The first Clinton was so good for Israel in his search for his legacy...other than the blue dress, I mean.

The position paper, published this week, goes so far as to outflank President Bush from the right. I guess Hillary really does have the Democrat nomination wrapped up. With all the Democrat votes bought and paid for, she has nothing to lose by running as the Republican in the race.

Time to re-post the Hill-Arafat kiss pic.

a state for Hamas terrorists? I guess he polled Jews who want to commit suicide and I dont mean those at Masada. Officially for Fatah terrorists, and he's talking about American Jews who aren't at risk.
It's a political difference, the left does believe we can talk these things out. If GWB could sit down and settle his differences with Iran over coffee, why not Israel and the palestinians.
Whether Israel, or our WOT, it's difficult to effectively confront that arguement with people who essentially perceive nothing at risk.

Has Hillary picked out her new Jews to pardon during this election? No, she'll only be pardoning Jews, but not till the end of her 8 years. That will be in the platform.

Lies, lies, and more lies. Will the Jewish people here fall for it? Most likely.

I guess Hillary really does have the Democrat nomination wrapped up. With all the Democrat votes bought and paid for, she has nothing to lose by running as the Republican in the race. I think she does, and not on Israel, but the WOT I think she'll be moving to the right come general election time.
I think the surge will be working, but GWB, why did you wait so long to implement what I would have done in 2003.
It could be an effective arguement. Fortunately GWB won't be running.

I wonder if Hillary is the (Israel) hawk she is pretending to be. Aside from her pandering to Jewish donors, Hillary will be no more of a hawk than her predecessors, and probably less. How long have politicians crooned about an undivided Jerusalem? Yet how many politicians have we seen dance around their promises to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem?
During an election year, believe nothing. Of course they will say the sanctity of the Jewish state must be defended. Of course they will bluster about their faith and their roots. But after the election, when all that matters is poll data and spin, Hillary like all the others will waffle and dance and we'll see the old 2-state 2-step redux all over again. And I'll wager that Hillary will be pandering to the Muslims over Jerusalem. I'll bet a dollar.
